Negative experience: Gym has been closed over a week due to 'unforeseen emergency'. No information has been given to us as to why and the facility itself downsized earlier this year and really fell off since then. Unable to get a refund as I had paid for the year ahead.

Negative experience: Only went there once after it was recommended to me…gym itself is okay but was not impressed with the managers (English) attitude towards other staff. Nobody wants to hear or see that. Since heard from a staff member that it’s always like that…so decided to speak up.

Negative experience: I first joined VIC for Muay Thai in August 2023 and it was really good- the coaches were professional and the sessions were very motivating in addition to the flexible schedule, the sessions were running every hour, so you definitely can fit your sessions anytime to meet the busy life here in Dubai with work.. etc. Few months later everything changed, all coaches left and only 2 new are there, the schedule becomes very very tight especially in the weekend there are no afternoon or evening sessions. Even during the week if I was able to make it to the session, the atmosphere is very boring and it’s totally different compared to few months ago with the old big team. I have a year membership for Muay Thai and I really can’t make a good use of it because of the very inflexible schedule and the sessions are not on the same level as before. Other than that, the place has a very nice big gym area and other facilities and people are friendly and nice. I hope the management takes my concerns seriously.

Negative experience: I was asked to accompany my friend after she had asked me to because she felt it wasn’t that normal for the coaches to overwhelmingly be touchy or “friendly” in the first day itself. We joined for the normal group class for kickboxing. That too trial. We were greeted by two coaches of I believe who were from Philippines. And was told that they were like brothers . Ten minitues after warm up I was asked if I was her boyfriend. Then during pad workout, I was personally asked by the other coach the same question and how I know her. She had told them no in front of me already . And whenever they had a chance, they would always try to applaud or encourage her with a hug, after the second one, she declined and they still went on. Please note, she was never rude, she is a very sweet person by nature. It’s her first time. I have been to several gyms. It’s the weirdest thing I’ve seen ever. Maybe she should’ve been more bold and gotten angry. And I regret not responding either. Also, The proof can be checked in your cctv if needed. I asked my friend not to enroll in your gym. I was called two days after to check and I told the lady about this incident and they said sorry and they will check and take action. Pretty sure they did nothing because they had contacted me twice, and now I was reminded of this bad incident, so I had to write this. I don’t know about other coaches or the management. Maybe it’s all fine there. But coaches like these unchecked is quite disgusting. Pretty sure you will get my contact from my name.

Fantastic experience: Vic Sports is one of the underrated and hidden gems of Al Quoz. I've done a few boxing classes with them and had the best time with Coach Ricky and Coach Rocky - professional and very motivating. You really see the progress as you go along the training and they absolutely push you to be your best all the time!
