Negative experience: Rubbish sales team. Unprofessional, do not follow up on inquiries, take forever to respond. Was in contact with Raemond and Hope. Makes you wonder how some people have jobs. Waste of time..better options available.

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with FitRepublik - sports city, as they asking to buy the bracelet access as non-refundable without this you cannot enter the gym, this for Privilee members. I had to call Privilee customer services and they totally disagree with that. And they asked them to allow to enter without paying any additional cost as I’m active member. Better to share!

Positive experience: Restrictive and unfair cancelation policy . The gym is great and, as a full member I can say that classes and facilities are stunning. However, the recent cancellation policy is completely unbalanced and dictatorial. Currently, if you either cancel later than 10 hours prior to the class or do a no-show twice in a week they penalize you by freezing the chance of book any class for a week. 1. Applying the same penalty to a no show than to a late cancellation is exaggerated. A no show is inadmissible but a late cancellation gives room to other people to book and use the class. It shouldn’t be on the same level 2. There are million reasons why you have no option but to cancel the day before or even the same day. Unexpected Health issues , a bad night, traffic. Family, etc… . 10 hours notice is too long. If any event occurs, canceling is a respectful and kind gesture but still gets hardly punished. 3 if you want to change/swap a class on the same slot for any reason , the system forces you to cancel, hence : penalty. 4. It feels like a boarding school ruling system 5. The system applies the penalty to all the classes, regardless which one was cancelled 5 Possible solutions: A. Full penalty for a no show B. Give 2 hours notice for late cancellation. C. Apply equal penalty, proportionate to the number of events ( 2 late cancellation = 2 days penalty) D. Apply penalty only over the cancelled class, not blocking all booking system for everything else E. If you do a late cancellation but the class is not full or someone else could occupy the slot, then it shouldn’t exist penalty. The gym is not impacted for this, so it is not fair to ground members for this. This tries to be a constructive feedback but the reality is that this new system is really annoying. Fit Republik is not cheap and this restrictive system blocks weeks out of a membership that you’ve already paid. It’s abusive

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Dubai by far, fantastic swimming pool of 50m, great CrossFit area, nice environment with friendly coaches.

Negative experience: Horrible timings. For being the only main gym in Dubai Sports City area and closing at 9pm on a weekend night, especially during Ramadan is absurd. Not sure why or who has come up with these timings.

Fantastic experience: One of a kind space with so many options for adults and kids. Great community, beautiful energy.

Negative experience: My daughter goes there for gymnastics. Coach Mohammed Sami is really good and my daughter’s progress accelerated because of him - but this was all ruined because of my horrible experience with re-registration . I have been calling, emailing , whatsapping to get my daughter registered again for term 3 for weeks and yet can’t receive confirmation. They told me the class is full on one day yet managed to register other students on the same day. I have been requesting a call back from the unreachable program manager for over a week now yet no response. Other slots are gone too just waiting. This is very frustrating and unprofessional, all the channels of communications are purely a waste of time.

Negative experience: Disappointed with Fitrepublik’s Treatment of Long-Term Members! I’ve been a loyal member of Fitrepublik for six years, always appreciating the facilities and community. Unfortunately, I recently faced a frustrating situation. Due to a knee surgery, I was unable to attend the gym for six months—a situation I proactively informed them about in advance. Now that I’m ready to return, I was shocked to learn that my founders' rate has been revoked because my membership “expired,” despite my long-term commitment and clear communication. Instead of supporting a dedicated member recovering from surgery, they’re insisting I pay the new, higher rate. This is not how loyal customers should be treated. It’s disappointing to see that longevity and transparency mean so little.

Negative experience: Great training venue but the management is not professional. They don’t care about your basic needs, had to move to another place.

Negative experience: A decent gym and the rating would be higher but they lose a star for each of the following: 1) limited car parking due to nearby construction 2) half the toilets are permanently out of service 3) Half the lockers in the men’s changing room don’t lock

Fantastic experience: As a level 2 gymnast here i really like fitrepublik and the coaches are really nice. They help you improve by pushing you out of your comfort zone but not too much. The gym is huge and has everything you need for practice including two trampolines, lots of bars and beams and a huge floor area. It has a cafe with really good food and a nut-free section. I really recommend going here if you want to do classes or even just work out.

Fantastic experience: One of my fav spots to work out!

Fantastic experience: Gym equipment is good quality and generally it gets only reasonably busy but not too excessive. Main reason to join is for the classes, coaches are really friendly and welcoming, lots of different classes to learn new things and a great community of people. One of the best gyms I've been to. I've been using it for the gym and CrossFit / weightlifting / gymnastics classes so can't speak much about the other classes or facilities as there's a lot of other things to try!

Fantastic experience: If you are considering PT or gym membership as you head into the new year I recommend Rob and the team at Crossfit Aptior. The crossfit coaches at Fit Republik have created such a special community that really encourages growth and commitment. I started with Rob Begley as my personal trainer after attending one of his classes with a friend. His ability to motivate everyone, whether they’re complete beginners or more experienced, and the way he breaks down tasks to make them understandable for someone with little gym technique is impressive. Rob is a consistent source of support and understanding - he gets work and family life impacts on energy but never lets you use them as an excuse not to train. He helps me refine my technique and celebrates the small and big wins - I genuinely enjoy training consistently. A year later, with Rob’s guidance, I’ve gone from sporadic sessions to training 5–7 days a week, and I can see real progress. My children also train here with Sara Hindarsh, who brings the same passion, humour, fun and expertise that will mean they understand technique from a young age and will never be afraid to step into a gym later in life. The entire team of coaches are a joy to work with.

The facilities are top-notch, always clean, and equipped with everything you need, from the latest machines to free weights and functional training areas. The trainers are super friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help, whether you’re a beginner or a gym enthusiast. What really stands out is the atmosphere—it’s so motivating and welcoming, you feel like part of a community. The group classes are amazing, with a variety to choose from, and the instructors bring such great energy. Plus, the membership plans are reasonably priced for the quality you get.

Positive experience: Best gym in dubai. Great trainers expecially the yoga section. Well maintained and organized. Just 2 glitches on my side: (A) Locker room too small and without sauna. (B) It's still too pricey... ;-)

Fantastic experience: What an amazing facility. The gym is one of the best equip I have ever seen. Music is well balanced and not to loud. Not that this matters if you are locked in your own zone with headphones. Food places are also good with hi speed wifi.

Fantastic experience: Brazilian jiu-jitsu at this place is the so much fun! For kids and for adults. I have been training here now for about 2 years. The community is so diverse, welcoming and friendly. My coach and my colleagues mentor and encourage and help me in my development. I can't imagine a better place to train bjj in Dubai. Don't feel worried- just come and try! You'll be well looked after

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Heather and share my amazing experience with her class Qi-Gong. For those who doesn't know- it is energy practice. It was my first trial and I was on 33 hour if dry fasting appeared in the class with inner shaking from exhaust. After class end I felt "Brand new" I had so much energy, my emotional condition on top. That is amazing. I'm a new fun of qi-gong from now on. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I don t normally review anything on line but feel i hundred % need to for Heather at mind and body Fitrepublik motor city . After attending many yoga, pilates , stretch , breathwork classes over the last 6 years in Dubai ive become some what critical and disappointed. Heather is on another level she really is the whole package . From yin, to breath work, to meditation Qui gong the knowledge this incredible lady offers in every class is amazing i cannot praise her enough . Fitrepublik DO not lose her !!! She is a Scottish GEM ! I am not affiliated in any way but praise where praise is due

Fantastic experience: The facility is absolutely incredible. You have a wide range of equipment, spaces, and fitness classes/programs that you can choose from. More importantly, the staff are beyond friendly and strike conversations with all members. They really do look out for you. However, the main shout out is to Hussein Bakeer who is the rehab trainer. His flexibility, passion, and drive to push you to meet your goals are what set him apart. The results are quick if you dedicate yourself to his program!

Fantastic experience: 5 stars to the mind and body department. The stretch and mobility class has improved my Ashtanga Practice so much. To each and every one of the instructors You are all an integral part of my journey. What a fantastic place with amazing humans!

Been a member for over a month with access on group classes, yoga/pilates, boxing and swimming - and happy as of yet Update: Actually it gets busy during school for kids classes

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! It’s spacious, good amount of machines and extended variety of classes! I had also an amazing personal trainer experience with Vernay who is such a fun and inspiring trainer! She made me stronger and happier each session, since I trained to regain straight after a serious medical treatment. Definitely recommend her if you are looking for a PT package. There is only one point of attention that I think should be improved: this gym does not offer towels for those who want to shower after training. I know it is a detail but it is a bit of a downside when you compare to the majority of gyms in Dubai.

Positive experience: I really like the open windows and the crowd. Not too much testosterone, dedicated fitness people, a nice cafe and all the annoying wristband thing they have going on in their two locations. They may think is a great thing, but is the reason they don’t get 5 star. Is annoying as hell, in this location and the SZR one is even worse. But besides this: a great if not one of the best, fitness centers.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and excellent facilities. The gym is well spaced out and even has a detailed body composition scanner. Been training with Vernay for the past year and cannot recommend her and FitRepublik enough!

Fantastic experience: I've recently started personal training sessions with Ms. Alyona, and I couldn't be happier. Her support exceeds my expectations, and she goes above and beyond to help me achieve my goals, pushing me beyond what I thought was possible. Overall in terms of the gym, The atmosphere at the gym and the staff's welcoming presence keep me excited to continue improving. The equipments are well put out and multiple option and facilities connecting with the gym.

Fantastic experience: Love the gym and its facilities, the cafe and the proximity, but most importantly I’m very happy with my PT Alyona and her approach. She keeps pushing me to do more and better, but in a very attentive and gentle way. I’ve been feeling myself much better and happier since I started my gym sessions with her❤️

Fantastic experience: An overdue review, since I’ve been going to this gym for a few years now. A big thank you to Shenaz who is always helpful and efficient when renewing my membership. The few other interactions I have had with the staff there( I only use the access to the pool) made me walk away with a smile on my face. Great facilities, amazing pool for laps, albeit it does get a bit crowded in the changing rooms during school holidays camps.
