Dubai Taekwon-Do Academy

Emirates Taekwon-Do (formerly Dubai Taekwon-Do Academy) is the official representative of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) in the United Arab Emirates. Founded in 2018 and led by Grand Master Ricardo Scheidegger, our academy brings authentic martial arts traditions to Dubai, combining the rigorous discipline of General Choi Hong Hi’s teachings with modern, supportive training environments.

We offer comprehensive structured programs tailored for every age and skill level, from our specialized Tiger Cubs program for children aged 4–5 to advanced classes for teens and adults. Our curriculum is deeply rooted in the five core tenets of Taekwon-Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. We believe that martial arts education extends beyond physical techniques; it is a powerful tool for developing confidence, emotional regulation, and leadership qualities in children facing challenges such as shyness, hyperactivity, or bullying.

With multiple convenient venues across Dubai, including partnerships with 365 Open Sports and Heroes Academy, we provide accessible, high-quality training spaces for families. Our experienced instructors, including highly ranked black belts with decades of experience, guide students through the official ITF syllabus, ensuring technical precision and personal growth. Join a community that values respect, safety, and excellence, and start your journey in the way of Tae Kwon Do today.
