Negative experience: Was sold an annual membership and told the renovations would be happening but my workouts wouldn’t be impacted. Instead half the gym has been closed down, swimming pool empty, sauna closed and the remaining bench press etc are outside in the sun. I’m being told to workout in 40 degree weather, can’t even touch any of the equipment without burning myself.
Fantastic experience: Fidelity fitness club is a very good environment, the staffs are accomodating.. the front desk mr. Wilson i think is nice and approachable kudos to fidelity fitness club.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Fidelity Witness Club, thanks to Wilson. He was super accommodating and really helpful. He answered all my questions patiently and even gave me some great suggestions. You can tell he genuinely cares and is really empathetic. Big thanks to Wilson for making my visit smooth and pleasant!!

Negative experience: I paid for a 6-month membership on 3th April, and just 2-3 day later, I showed up to find major renovation work underway in a large part of the gym. At no point during the signup process did anyone inform me about this renovation. When I asked for a refund, it was denied. Instead, they offered to freeze my membership and assured me the renovation would be completed by 10–15 May. Based on that promise, I agreed and signed the membership form. Now, when I returned to start using the gym, I was told the renovation is still not finished and won’t be completed until mid-June. To make matters worse, if I choose to resume now, my membership will be counted from 8th April—essentially robbing me of an entire month I paid for without access. This is highly unprofessional and disappointing. It feels like the gym is more interested in taking money than in being transparent or fair with its members. I expected honesty and better service, not this kind of treatment.

Negative experience: One day they post on IG " something new is coming", get members excited, and surprise! You find the gym closed the very next day. The entire gym section has been closed all at once for renovation which is expected to last for 2 months, they've kept a few machines in the stretching area, studio and outside, yes OUTSIDE - in dubai summer. Pool water has been drained out. So basically you can swim or workout only when the gym wants you to. Who are they renovating for? I don't know a single member out of hundreds who isn't pissed. The membership fee was increased this year on pretext of upcoming renovations which have been started without even informing the members. No compensation has been offered for this utterly unacceptable inconvenience. This has to be the worst customer service of all time.

Third, the club is not closed, as you falsely claim in your review. While the main gym floor, swimming pool, and changing rooms are temporarily unavailable, the functional training area and group cycling studio remain fully open. Additionally, select equipment has been relocated to our class studio and outdoor area, and group classes continue poolside, allowing our members to maintain their training routines during the transition.
Regarding your comments on membership rates, Fidelity Fitness Club is proud to be a premium fitness facility, offering state-of-the-art equipment, a clean and motivating environment, and a team of internationally certified trainers and instructors dedicated to helping members achieve their goals. The value of our membership is consistently reflected in the positive feedback we receive from the vast majority of our community, that vastly outnumber any poor review we have, and shows why so many have chosen to call Fidelity their fitness home.
We understand that upgrades can be temporarily disruptive, but we are confident that the improvements underway will offer an enhanced experience for all members. In terms of timeline, the refurbishment will not take five months as you mentioned. The timeline is significantly shorter, and we hope to complete the in approximately one month, and we are working diligently to complete it as quickly and smoothly as possible.
While the main training area, lockers, and showers are temporarily closed, the club remains operational. Equipment has been carefully relocated, with functional training and group cycling areas continuing as normal, and group classes relocated poolside. We’ve also taken additional steps to ensure that the outdoor setup remains accessible and as comfortable as possible during this transition.

Negative experience: The biggest problem here is that employees do not seek to help customers, shift responsibility onto each other, and even their manager is not responsible for their mistakes. In the sauna, housekeeper generally dries rags and socks. Very poor experience.

The daily classes are really good with excellent and professional instructors.Also the staff is very helpful and promptly sorts out issues if any. Negative experience: My trainer Jake left the gym (that's what they told me) and then I was assigned to another trainer where the first session (a diagnostic one or induction one) also was charged which should've been free because the movement from one trainer to another wasn't my call. Neither was any option given for trainers nor was I asked about what type of trainer I preferred.

Negative experience: Really appreciated the Club, my PT jake helped me fantastically and the atmosphere in the club is great. But if you are someone that travels and want to pauze your membership while traveling, don’t use this gym even-though the condition mention the benefits of pausing you membership, if you have Marc from admin handeling your case it’s an uncivilized process and I have not been treated in any gym this badly. Again great gym if you are not a traveler, if you are a traveler I would recommend to go to an other gym.
Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms in JLT, I’ve been going to this gym for the past 3yrs. The people, the trainers and the members are great, super respectful and friendly. Had an amazing training session with Henco who’s one of the transformation expert in my opinion, has amazing knowledge of everything related to fitness and nutrition. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a personal training in JLT, this is a great place and Henco is one of the best trainers who can help you achieve your fitness goals.

Negative experience: The worst gym in Dubai! Me and my friend we walked in at the reception around 10:30am to look at the gym and membership price since we are moving in the area soon. The lady in the reception told us theres no one to assist us. It's 10:30am there's no one?? I offer we dont mind we can look ourselves and decide if we like it, will take 2 minutes and that's enough for us, she stop us no we are not allowed to even view the gym if there is no sales consultant! I said Seriously??? Then she bring up pay 150 for day pass, for viewing the gym, do I pay 150 for what??? I'm not working out my dear we wanted to see just the gym inside! She said wait for staff they will come 11am, drove all the way from jvc with traffic and we wait for your staff for 30 minutes just to view the gym environment?? Are you we in the hospital waiting for doctor appointments??? What kind of gym stops walking customer to look around the gym?? We have to pay 150 aed just for viewing?? Horrible customer service!!! So we drove out to UFC gym they welcome us warmly and even offer us to have trail at the same time. We have taken a year membership with the offer for national holiday. Fedility the Worst gym in Dubai, don't visit there they will ask you to pay for viewing and ask you to wait for Sheikh to arrive so you can view.

You were offered the option to either wait for their follow-up to schedule the trial or purchase a 1-Day Pass for immediate access. Negative experience: I had one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences at Fidelity Fitness JLT. Earlier today, I made a booking for a Pilates class for myself, as a Privilee member, and for my 16-year-old daughter, who is included in my membership. I provided all necessary details over the phone, and nothing was mentioned about additional requirements such as bringing an ID. When we arrived, my daughter was refused entry because she didn’t have her ID with her. This requirement was never communicated during the booking process, and the staff were inflexible, unprofessional, and showed no consideration for the situation. We were forced to leave, and my daughter, who was looking forward to this class, ended up in tears. This level of poor communication and lack of customer care is completely unacceptable. I will never return to Fidelity Fitness JLT and cannot recommend this facility to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place.

When you called to book your class attendance, it was not mentioned that your daughter does not have an individual Privilee application account. According to the Privilee check-in policy, all members, including dependents, are required to have their own accounts to access our club. As a result, we were unable to grant your daughter entry under Privilee because the check-in system does not permit access without an individual account. As an alternative, we offered your daughter the option of purchasing a one-day pass. However, she was unable to provide a valid ID, which is a requirement for issuing guest passes. This policy ensures compliance with safety protocols and age verification, which are standard across our facility. Please note that a soft copy of the ID would have sufficed, but unfortunately, this was not available either, preventing us from processing the one-day pass. At the time of your booking, you informed us that both you and your daughter would be attending through Privilee. Since no mention was made of a one-day pass, there was no reason to inform you about the ID requirement during your call. Therefore, this is not an issue of poor communication on our part, but rather a case of incomplete information provided during the booking process. Had we been informed that your daughter did not have an individual Privilee account, we would have suggested the one-day pass option in advance and clarified the ID requirement. We kindly request that you consider updating your review to reflect these details, ensuring fairness and accuracy in recounting the events. Positive experience: Review Based on my opinion: Gym & Facilities - 4 stars I often visited during my lunch breaks, and I found the gym clean and not too crowded. The weights area is on the smaller side, but it’s perfect during off-peak times. I imagine it could get a bit frustrating during busier periods. The sauna and pool are excellent. However, there were a few maintenance issues, like leaks and broken equipment, that brought my rating down. I understand renovations are in progress, so hopefully, that resolves things. PTs & Front Office Staff - 5 stars The staff are fantastic – super friendly and always ready to help. Although I didn’t use the personal trainers, they seemed approachable and knowledgeable. The front desk team is always smiling and happy, which is lovely to see. Renewal Process - 1/2 stars As mentioned in MANY other reviews, the renewal process leaves much to be desired. My renewal price increased significantly with no clear explanation, almost as if it was randomly generated. A slight increase might have been acceptable, but the jump I experienced, along with the issues I encountered during the process, gave me the impression that loyalty to existing customers isn’t a priority. With growing competition in Dubai, this seems like a poor approach.

Fantastic experience: Good gym, decent equipment, clean and organised. A few things missing that I would expect from a top class gym - a few more facilities, providing workout clothing, towels for showering, deodorant, body lotion, etc. that gyms like Virgin provide. Ashley Maninang was helpful and made the enrolment easy.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility and have a professional staff who's working together to maintain the cleanliness and safety environment for all the members...The receptionist name, Angela is doing a great job and always having a good smile for welcoming each member and easy to approach.

Positive experience: I really dont want to make a review but my heart goes to Ann in the reception. She appeared visibly upset after Marlon shouted at her from the gym to the reception area. Although I couldn't grasp the details due to the language barrier, I believe it's important to bring this to the staff's attention. Despite this isolated incident, I want to highlight that the gym consistently offers excellent service to its members.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at Fidelity Fitness Club for a couple of months now and i am very happy with my choice. The entrance to the gym itself provides great vibes. “Ashley” should be your point of contact for sure , she makes all the membership process easy . And yes, i had a great training experience with “Cassious Abrahams” from Fidelity. He has an ability to tune into how i am feeling during workouts and making adjustments on the fly to ensure i am always challenged but never overwhelmed and this is the reason i extended more 12 sessions with him
