The Warehouse Gym - IBN Battuta

Positive experience: Probably the best gym in Dubai in terms of space and equipment but the boxing classes are always scheduled during the office hours (5:30 PM or before). Also, maybe the girl who calls herself the Manager should work around fulfilling the promises, their sales guys should behave with all the members the same, regardless of their nationalities.

Fantastic experience: The day pass gym tour continues… well, actually a week pass in this case. I really like this gym. Tons of equipment, but all set out so that you can actually move around it. The selector machines are Cyber, and in good condition as well as having two of everything so there’s less waiting. Plate loaded machines are all Hammer Strength, and positioned so that you can load one while someone is using the machine next to it (most gyms make a mess of this, so it’s a refreshing change) The rig has got loads of J-hooks for barbells, and there’s a decent number of bars to go around. Turf area gets used a lot by classes, so if you desperately need that check the timing in their reasonably easy app. Because they’ve got everything, I was able to keep to the same program as at home without changes. Really appreciate this. Overall a really good gym with a pleasant atmosphere and super clean. First time I’ve ever seen someone take a stair master apart to clean inside and under it; and the speed and fluidity that the guy did it with means he does it often. Really recommend this gym if you’re in this part of Dubai.

Positive experience: Checked out Warehouse Gym in Ibn Battuta — super crowded during peak hours. Great energy and solid equipment, but it’s tough to find space or get on machines. Definitely needs more classes and better crowd management to make the experience smoother. Would love to see more variety in the schedule too.

Positive experience: I’ve always enjoyed working out at this gym, but lately, it’s clear that the focus is more on quantity than quality. The lack of hygiene and maintenance is unacceptable—it shows in the filth, the disgusting smell, and the dirty toilets. People walk around in flip-flops (a serious safety hazard), spit on the floor, and occupy benches and machines just to sit and video call. Loud phone conversations are another major disturbance, making it impossible to focus. On top of that, personal trainers seem lost in their own world, with no sense of distance or awareness of other members. And now, unbelievably, baby strollers are being brought onto the gym floor. This is a serious safety hazard—heavy weights, moving equipment, and an unpredictable environment make it incredibly dangerous. A gym is meant to be a safe, professional workout space, not a daycare. Everything is falling apart. I hope management takes immediate action to enforce stricter rules, restore hygiene, and bring back the discipline expected in a proper gym.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym like 8 months ago and was thinking why didn't I join earlier? Had a great experience with this gym, thanks to the helpful and friendly staff! Special shoutout to Coach JR and also to Cedie, who assisted me throughout the registration process. He answered all of my questions with lots of patience. Fantastic experience: I love the varieties of machine, my only comment was, during peak hours you are constantly looking for available equipment to use as the Gym was so crowded and it's hard to find a Suitable time between juggling from work and Travel time.

Positive experience: The gym is no doubt one of the best in the area. Good range of equipment*, clean & hygienic and perfect ambience for workout. However there are some essential equipment missing especially for strength and functional training. They used to have sandbags till 150lbs which are all damaged and beyond use now. I put up a request more than 3 months ago but no response till date. Axle bar or log could also add to the variety. They have a great space for functional training but need to be supplemented by the required equipment.

Negative experience: Poor attitude from front desk staff. Rude response when requesting for anything- even as basic as a towel. I wish i had not joined this place. If there is a rule for one towel, then it can be informed politely, not in a rude manner. After workout with a trainer where you have used your towel to wipe of the massive amounts of sweat can't use the same for after shower. Hope the management will address with the front desk staff - in this case it was staff name -Nico who was rude to me - that was also in front of Coach Altamash - Ibn Batuta Branch.

Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to train at Warehouse Gym in IBN Battuta, and the experience was exceptional. The gym is well-equipped with a wide variety of machines and free weights, perfect for both beginners and advanced athletes. The environment is clean and organized, making the workout more comfortable and enjoyable. The trainers are professional and attentive, always ready to offer tips and adjust exercises to ensure you’re training safely and effectively.

Negative experience: Used to be OK til it got very crowded ‍ Gym’s alright don’t get me wrong, well-equipped, however the crowd after 6 isn’t the most pleasant, if I had to put it in a most polite way possible. No separate section for ladies, which isn’t really the issue but you cannot work out comfortably without men staring at you. Not sure if they reduced the price for “that” type of crowd but it just gotten more & more uncomfortable for a woman. Staff can be quite rude - they will tell you off if you find a “peaceful” corner to work out and won’t offer you a solution even if you explain the situation. It gets SUPER busy after 6pm, understand it’s when most people finish work but the gym isn’t just spacious enough to handle such crowd. Definitely not renewing my membership in this branch and definitely NOT the Warehouse Gym standard, unfortunately.

Negative experience: I had arrived for the free-trial day-pass that I had received from the gym's website, however, the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional and forced us to pay 105 AED, even though I had already received the day pass. I was forced to return home and I have still not received the pass after a week.
