Negative experience: You ask to cancel membership and they scam you with bank details saved and keep taking money despite having email confirming receiving the cancellation request and saying would be cancelled next month , yet kept taking money for a year after and when asked for a refund with the email I have . They manipulated and never escalated . ( no clear escalation process ) and keep sending messages to pay again coz I changed the card .

Negative experience: I had visited the gym ,1 month back, and informed the staff at the reception about canceling my membership. They confirmed that the cancellation was done. However, today I received a message from my bank stating that the monthly fee has still been deducted. This is very disappointing and reflects poor customer service. My issue remains unresolved, and no one has contacted me to address it yet.

Negative experience: Problem with Attitude, System of customer sevice of Gymnation, Insatisfied the behaviour of Gymnation Taken payment of Gymnation from account 5 days earlier then its supposed to be, taken payment for freezed in system Months, screen i can attached Ignoring and no answering after taking payment by colleague Fake asking for additional at first 70 aed after 50 aed that is half of my package, even app friezed already October months and not showing any payment fee that it was needed Taking full month payment for freezed month that its clearly showen Yesterday I asked in Wha to the guy who chat with me to call the meneger as all this conditions are dosgusting, I freezed package near 15 days ago, as I am going to vacation as I dont want to pay for month that I will be out, I have an evidence in App its already freezed and I was busy with another stuff and preparing to vacation, after colleags at Gymnations start call me and asked about payment for full months I don’t know why, after i mentioned that I freezed it he start asked additional payment at first 70 aed after 50 aed from his side, as App didn’t asked for any fee and it was message that I can freeze my membership for 1 months only in year, so I freezed I have evidence that its already showed done, after this done buy app without any asking of fee, why someone asking me to pay especially payment rhat is half of my package and what is sense to pay half of monts in Gymnation if I want to feeeze and dont pay this months After I request call from manager in Wha chat He stop to answer at 1 pm so 11 pm after work I suppose to go by myself to Gymnation to try to fix it by myself, even I am having flight next day and I tottaly didn’t have time for all this drama, so I spoke to Receptionist he took number, today noone called now 1 pm gymnation just payment for all month and enjoying my money, asking fake payment and different sizes, even app not require it Fully unsatisfied that you made me struggle and took my money This fully ruin experience with good trainers and interesting classes

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with Gymnasium Financial Center. I joined on a 12-month membership plan and have already completed 8 months. Due to personal reasons and moving far away, I could not continue going to the gym. Even though I explained my situation, they continue taking money from my account without permission. When I visited the gym, they told me they don’t have a contact number and only asked me to send an email. I searched on Google as well, but there is no phone number listed—only an email option. I sent emails, but never received any reply. I even contacted the staff member who originally signed me up, but when I send messages, they don’t reply or even look at them. This is very frustrating and unprofessional. There is no proper customer service, no phone support, and no flexibility with memberships. I would not recommend choosing long-term packages here, because if you cannot continue for any reason, they will keep charging you and ignore your concerns.

Negative experience: I joined GymNation in Nov 2023 and cancelled in Mar 2024, following their terms and conditions and providing proof of my relocation to end the contract. I was billed for the April notice, which I accepted, but then billed again in May without my consent. After that, silence. And now in 2025 a few weeks ago they started sending me harassing emails for payment of an insane inflated amount for the rest of my contract even though I’ve never used their facilities. I did everything by the book, but they still rejected my cancellation. Very disappointing experience. Please be careful and don’t fall for their unethical tactics.

I relocated to abudhabi and they can't cancel my membership. They keep on deducting money from your account even after requesting for a cancelation.GREEDY MANAGEMENT, BAD T&C,and actually the numbers I tried calling them with are not going through! SO WRONG! Despite having a valid reason for not attending (medical advice), I was insulted and asked, "if you can't afford it, why did you take the membership?" This kind of unethical behaviour is shocking. I was planning to return, but after this treatment, myself and my group of six will be cancelling and strongly advising others to avoid Gymnation.

Negative experience: Disappointed with GymNation Experience I was told my contract was for 6 months, only to later find out it’s actually for a full year. I also left my belongings in my locker, and when I returned after 2 weeks, they were gone — including expensive gym clothes. No warning, no notice. Customer service was rude and unhelpful, promising a callback that never came. It’s been over 3 weeks and no one picks up the phone. At AED 199/month, I expected better. I’d rather pay AED 400 elsewhere for honesty and real service.

Negative experience: Disappointed with GYMNATION’s Service I initially signed up for the standard package and was enjoying my workouts. However, a staff member contacted me, persuading me to upgrade to the popular package. Since my schedule isn’t flexible, I agreed to try it for one month and paid the extra fee. To my surprise, when I requested to revert back to my original package, I was informed that I had been placed on a six-month membership something I never agreed to! I was clear about my intention for a one month trial, yet now I’m stuck paying for a service I hardly use. This is highly unprofessional, and the customer service team has been unhelpful!!! in resolving the issue. Businesses should take responsibility for clear communication and ethical practices. I hope GYMNATION addresses this and provides a fair resolution.

Negative experience: Hello all just want to share my experience to ensure none of you fall for it I joined GYMNATION in mid 2023 and everything was just perfect Mid 2024 I had an injury and could not go to the gym for a few months and sadly I had to do a surgery in Feb 2025 and cannot go to the gym anymore Due to this injury I stopped going to the gym by late 2024 Gym nation.charged me the last payment on 25th March 2025 that is covering payment on 25th April 2025 I cancelled my membership on 7th of April 2025 due to medical reasons and they are still insisting that I pay them for a period of 25th April to 25th May Look out guys

Negative experience: The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I asked the receptionist about freezing my subscription. She didn't answer me. She said, "You can check the app yourself." Then I froze my subscription. When it came time to pay, they deducted the regular amount plus the freezing fee. I contacted the employees by phone. They read my message but didn't respond. After I went to the branch, I asked the receptionist to see the manager, but she refused!

Negative experience: Ac always full, it's gym should not be that cold. Parking issues, always not available. Boxing area all the bags removed. Other than that the workers nice and helpful.

Huge thanks to Will, the gym manager, for organizing everything so efficiently—and a very special mention to Kath at reception, who went above and beyond to take care of every requirement with such ease and warmth. Amazing atmosphere and a brilliant place overall!

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my experience at the Downtown branch. I upgraded to a PLUS membership at the Bur Dubai branch so I could access other locations, but on my second visit to Downtown, I was told my membership was blocked by the manager—without any explanation. What made it worse was the rude and unhelpful attitude of the two Filipino receptionists. When I explained that I had visited just the day before, Micaela coldly said, "I don't know what happened yesterday, I wasn't here," and the male staff admitted I entered yesterday but still refused to assist. No effort was made to help or clarify anything. This is not how paying members should be treated. Poor communication, lack of professionalism, and zero customer care. Definitely not what I expected from a gym of this level.

Negative experience: I’ve had a frustrating experience with Gymnation regarding unauthorized deductions from my account. Over the course of six months, I noticed AED 184 was deducted multiple times without any prior notice or consent, totaling AED 1,104. This was for membership services I never authorized, especially since my membership was supposed to be free for the first year. After reaching out to Gymnation, I was informed that the charges were related to a referral account linked to my card. The individual who signed up under my referral had canceled their membership and deactivated their bank card, yet these charges were transferred to my account without my consent or any communication. It’s perplexing and frustrating that charges related to someone else’s account were applied to me without notice or explanation. I hope Gymnation addresses this issue promptly and ensures this doesn’t happen again in the future.
