Negative experience: I would like to leave a review about the gymnastics classes. The male coaches raise their voices at the children and they have a lack of proper teaching methods. Being a great athlete does not necessarily mean being a good teacher. Let me give an example: The child is given a task to run and jump onto the trampoline. I personally don’t know the correct technique for this, but simply saying, “Run and jump,” is clearly not enough. The coach does not demonstrate how to do it, does not explain body or leg positioning during the jump—just keep saying“run and jump.” The level of coaching is very low. At a young age, sports should motivate children to continue training and develop a love for physical activity. However, when a coach constantly rolls his eyes and looks displeased every time a child makes a mistake—without actually correcting their technique—how can that possibly encourage anyone to keep training? This is happening at this school. If a child misbehaves, the coach takes them to a separate room and closes the door in front of them—I have seen this with my own eyes with my own kid . I don’t know if coaches have proper education for training kids honestly , because have never seen that attitude in any school for kids we are going too .

Positive experience: Good staff but small gym.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has tried a couple of different gymnastics companies but she has soared with Gymnastex. Instead of complaining about going once a week, she is running out the door 3 times a week now and has come on leaps and bounds since starting with them in June. The coaches make learning fun, but keeping everything safe too. I can highly recommend Gymnastex for all ages and abilities, boys and girls!
