Negative experience: Worse Gym membership ever. Not recommend to any one as they will definitely rip off your pocket by showing an attracting first month discount and then charged for membership even though you want to discontinue. They never going to explain their unfair terms and conditions upfront. Also the staff discriminate and prejudge you based on your appearance. Not explaining or treating the same attitude showed to white skin or western customers.

Fantastic experience: Good gym ( big space and clean )

Negative experience: I’ve had a very disappointing experience with this gym. They have been charging me without my consent, even though I paid through Apple Pay. They continue to take money without any authorization from me. Additionally, I had a shoulder injury, and they completely ignored it. They promised to take a freezing fee only, but instead, they charged me for both freezing and a subscription without my approval. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this gym and not to subscribe to their services.

Negative experience: Recently visited al qouz branch for the free trial before joining and i must say Very Rude staff. Especially the Filipino lady behind the reception. Every thing else is great interms of machinery, lay out etc. But due to the constant rudeness and entitlement over multiple days from the reception I decided not to join this gym. I.e - simple things like saying good morning multiple times on multiple days just to get a stare and no response, even asking her how to validate the parking, to get a sigh and a look as if you are asking her for a huge favor. Ruins the entire customer experience from the start.

Fantastic experience: Got a tour from Oscar. Unbelievable gym, great equipment, benches, squat racks, deadlift platforms at a great price too. Easiest pick in terms of gyms in dubai

Negative experience: Very Bad experience They want only payment. I’m not went last six months in the gym and I called last time to cancel my membership. I took only three month membership after that I request to close my membership, but still, they are deducting money from my card. The same case is happened three time

Negative experience: GymNation Al Quoz branch has completely misled me just to secure money. I specifically asked for a monthly payment plan, but they made me sign a 12-month contract without properly explaining the terms. When I realized this, I emailed them within a week to cancel my membership. Despite that, they are now demanding payment for three months and forcing me to continue even though I am not comfortable. Now, they are even threatening legal action if I don’t pay for a membership I never intended to commit to long-term. This is completely unfair and unprofessional. Be very careful before signing anything with them—they will trap you!

Negative experience: If you want to make improvements on this gym Even if it’s the best gym in UAE; then please explain to everyone else how on earth am I not allowed to take part of a particular class called muaythai muppets!?! Also charge me 193aed per month! This is utterly unacceptable regardless of how the service is going; I don’t know how to say it that it’s not going well at all! I can publish this on the newspaper & see how this feels for all of you! Do you think this is a joke to you!?! because it’s not funny at all! How would you feel if you didn’t have any members inside your gym at all!?! Because a lot of negative feedbacks are coming from other members on Google & during the COVID lockdown I have never stepped a foot into this gym at all! Do you think that this is right to you!?! I don’t think so! Also the other classes of your gym am I allowed!?! Wrong answer! I was only allowed in 2 classes body pump; body combat & Zumba! What about the muaythai muppets class am I allowed!?!! No I’m not even allowed at all because it’s a PAID CLASS! Either every member applies for that class but as for me I’m a useless person who can’t even take part of a self defense class at all! It’s not unfair to me but unfair to everyone involved IN THIS GYM! Also does GymNation have a telephone number!?! Absolutely not! Don’t tell me to come into your gym & discuss this in the gym because this doesn’t work out with me like that! That’s not a magic trick! Because It’s not what you think! It’s what everyone thinks & wants it! If you want this gym to work perfectly then show this to everyone else because this accomplishes nothing! Also another thing this gym wouldn’t be a gym at all! How about the cycling do you think this is a free class A:it is! Q: how about MuayThai muppets class? A: wrong answer! it’s a paid class! It should be a free class not a paid class! Also does GymNation even have a a telephone number? NO! Because they don’t want to pay for the landline service & also do they have an email address for other members to complain about the service? Also NO! How about if I complained to your Headquarters in Dubai about how extremely disrespectful to other members saying that I am not allowed to access the muaythai class! Based on my gym experience on all these things based on my experience & the disadvantage of taking advantage of other members is a federal offense & as a matter of fact not only you have lost a member of your club! So I have no other choice but to call the media & publish it on the headlines to see how does that feel if you lose a valuable member? Please don’t tell me to send all my comments & feedback to your manager; because this doesn’t work out like in a snap! As I have been to all fitness centers nothing works for me! So why don’t you explain this to your manager because I’m so sick & tired of all these things! Why don’t you just explain this to your manager in which the service is not working out well! Regretting this decision I will take immediate action whether you like it or not

Negative experience: After one day of signing up and visiting Al Quoz branch, i immediately dropped an email asking to cancel the membership, the changing rooms were extremely dirty, the response i got? “You should have checked the facility before signing up, and you may go to the other branch” even though its not convenient ‍♂️ zero common sense. The waiting time at the machines is unbelievable, no proper gym size vs memberships management.

Negative experience: I have moved out since last year and requested to cancel my membership since May of 2024 and confirmed via email by the reception and cc’d to accounts of Gymnation. Today, there accounts is messaging me to pay as I have not cancelled my membership and says its still active. I think there accounts team doesn’t know how his job and contacts me after 10 months that I didn’t cancel and in fact there was an email I remember on my cancellation since last year. What kind of work is this? 10 mos and he doesn’t realize their client already cancelled and make such mistakes! There system sucks so please be very careful if you sign up and decides to cancel your membership. There accounts doesn’t know how what his doing

Negative experience: Past 3 months I have informed to cancel my membership but they have been deducting money without my authorization from my wife’s card (which I made payment ONCE initially) . Even after informing they still trying to take money and they increased the annual membership and saying you have right to cancel (in t&c, which I already requested to cancel) but still haven’t cancelled and trying to take my money. They haven’t returned the previous transactions and wouldn’t cancel until they deduct another month and this will keep going. It’s a loop.

Fantastic experience: Aya and Hazel are the best and it is best gym

Negative experience: Their staff keeps calling from different numbers for months even after saying that you are not interested and joined else where. Too pushy, also I had bad experience once in Abudhabi.

Negative experience: This gym is a scam! I went in to get a day pass which is 50 dhs and they told me that they had a promotion which for the same price I can get a month membership. However they did not inform me that it was 50 dhs for the first month of an annual membership. I tried to cancel it as I only visit Dubai during summer and winter breaks but live abroad. I showed them ample proof that I go to school abroad including my flight information, student ID and tuition payment multiple times and each time they told me that this is not sufficient evidence. When my card expired and the payment did not go through, they threatened me calls and texts saying that they will fine me and forward my information to a debt collector multiple times ON CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS. This is disgusting and ridiculous to be treating any customer like this and there are no costumer representatives to contact to help. If anyone from GYMNATION is seeing this review, cancel my membership IMMEDIATELY or I will report you to Consumer Rights the next time you try to contact me.

Negative experience: Everything is ok till you reach the changing room and showers, then everything missed up, the water extremely cold, the cabinets are broken, no shower gel, cleaning staff not trained at all.

Negative experience: Me and my colleague signed a 6-month contract with GymNation and paid the full amount upfront. However, despite this, GymNation has been debiting a monthly amount from my account each month. While the salesperson reimburses the amount after we raise the issue, this has been happening every month. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with this recurring problem. If this continues, I would strongly recommend others not to join GymNation. The service needs serious improvement!

Negative experience: To, Managing Directors of GYM NATION, Gymnation has launched an amazing protein which is available in vending machines but unfortunately your price management team is dealing with it very very poorly. One day its 13 AED other day its 16 AED . Absolutely bad management with the pricing. Its sounds like when people start to buy more you hike the price to make more money. I suggest to keep consistency in the pricing of your product. I wanna suggest all the gymnation members to try this new product . flavors are great , protein content is good. It goes well with the gut without bloating but only due to daily price fluctuations i might stop buying this product. Thank you for your attention

Negative experience: GymNation claim that they have none of my card details on file, yet they have been billing me every month for the last 3 months... Even when I chase them up with screenshot evidence, they are saying it's not showing on their branch system. I've not even signed up for Gymnation, or have my bank details ever been passed to them, so how they've managed to get them and bill me monthly is a joke. I've emailed chasing a refund and for them to cancel it, yet no responses or call-backs.

Negative experience: I went for 2 days and now they are telling me I own a whole year of gym and if that I don’t pay they black list me and suit me, very easy to sign but after that you’ll realized what you’re going through. Worst gym ever and not for the installations, for the way you treat your customers.

Negative experience: The worst. Customer service is a goner. Doesn't even have that in it's dictionary. They have a team that hunts you down for a payment but when you need to reach out to them . Nothing. Just air. To cancel your membership might take you a heap of amounts and effort.

Negative experience: The staff on the reception named ibrahim is very rude to the clients . Management should train him adequately how to to deal with the ppl giving business to your company. He was literally yelling at us. No matter the client might be wrong but thats not the way that a client should be treated in such a way. He was seriously abruptly yellnh on us as if we have disturbed his privacy as he is never present on the reception. And is always busy on personal call with earphones on. We wanted to check with him with one of the query with our existing membership. Please the management should train people like him or better get rid of this kind of people. FYI timing was around 0145 am on 2nd Dec 2024. Please look into this.

Negative experience: Normally not a bad gym - not the cleanest of the gyms but i guess for the price you can expect it. They are doing a fairly large redesign in 2 parts of the gym which causes large amount of dust and debris to be all over the gym. This is where it’s not acceptable anymore as i def do not want to be breading in construction dust while working out. Really careless and disappointing!!

Negative experience: I haven't been a member for over 2 years and the studio still has the nerve to charge me for my membership. They told us it’s no problem if we go back to Germany, it’s super easy to cancel the membership. It’s not. I needed to go to my bank and request a new card so gymnation don’t have access to my bankinformation anymore. They don't respond to requests, emails, or Instagram. Pure rip-off. Don't go there.

Negative experience: I honestly am reviewing this place it gets a 2 star for equipment. if i could rate it 0 I would I still have 2 months on my membership remaining but i will not be showing up I mean the hygiene in this gym is incredible, sarcastic as you can tell... it smells like socks all the time and theres no fresh air whatsoever. you speak to the staff about it and it seems like its a normal thing.

Negative experience: I lost my job few months after joining gymnation, I applied for cancellation of my plan (which they informed at the time of signing up that I can cancel my plan if I lose my job) after applying for cancelling my plan they started asking for tons of questions and proofs which I gave them yet they came up with something else for not processing the cancellation. They are just behind your money no matter what, once you sign up, they will make sure they charge you for the whole year. Every single day they try to deduct the amount from my account. Worst gym ever. Strongly recommend to look elsewhere, where they care about the members and not just greedy for the money. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH THEM.

Customer service team is worst! If you ever want to cancel the membership they will be asking from the birth certificate till death certificate, which is totally unnecessary for a company. Negative experience: The worst user experience ever. Looks like Gymnation management is not aware that slavery was abolished time ago. I you purchase their membership, it will be forever, no way out, no early termination/cancellation. If you freeze the membership, you will be paying anyway. Highly NOT recommend to join the gym.

Negative experience: Be very careful about the transaction they charge in your bank account, and be aware that whatever is the issue they create, they’ll try to take advance and spill you more money, in many years that I go to the gym nothing like this ever happened to me. They first charge my bank without authorization of 5 September, after complaining they told me they refounded, this refound did not result in my bank, reason why I email multiple times. Once I came back on 17th September I asked confirmation at the reception if my month was still active, and they told me yes, also my application was still working, so I gave up and access last days of what I thought I unfairly pay. Only almost 2 weeks after, on 30rd September they demand a new month payment to access the gym. I paid 599 aed on 30th September. Then on 10th October they told me that before 30th September I entered the gym 5 times and I need to pay 375 aed cash, single sessions for this enterning, NOBODY MENTION THIS BEFORE. I also told them for resolve the situation that for me was not a problem to make my month plan started from 17th September, the day I did one of the 5 sessions before October, even tho was their mistake. But they said no and they deny the access to a month that I fully paid, until I pay ONLY cash this amount they claim. Once again, be careful about this gym. In end up paying in 20 days 975 aed to this scam gym.
