Fantastic experience: I love Platform! I have been going here for over 4 years and the variety of classes and the fabulous instructors are what keep me coming back. Doing an early morning ride class with Adam or Chelsea always puts me in a great mood for the day! I also recently started doing reformer Pilates with Molly which I l love (but also hate as it’s so hard ) but I feel great afterwards. The yoga classes with Kaegan are also amazing, especially yin yoga as she has such a great, calming vibe. Special mention to Kaye also as she does a great job managing all my requests and it always available on whatsapp if I have any questions. It’s a great boutique studio and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing workout studio, I love it so much and it’s added so much joy (and fitness!) to my life in Dubai! the classes are super varied and truly amazing, the teachers are all top notch and full of positive energy, the studios are beautiful, amenities are great, and most importantly the staff makes you feel at home every day!! Shoutout to Ralph who’s been super caring thoughtful through my membership process and every day since, so helpful and so positive!!! Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this studio for over 2 years. I love everything here. The atmosphere is amazing. It gives me such positive vibes. All staffs are helpful and friendly. The eqiupments are well-maintained. There are a variety of classes to attend with energetic and professional instructors. I get to know and meet lots of new friends from different kinds of profession. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: I am always impressed with the facilities and classes at Platform. The studio is always clean and well-maintained, and the equipments are top-notch. The trainers and instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, the classes are challenging yet fun, and the staff especially their sales manager, Kaye, is very friendly, approachable and supportive. Fantastic experience: Platform studios in DIFC is amazing. In particular, I’ve worked with Kaye as my subscription manager and she has been SO helpful. She’s always accommodating / easy to reach and willing to help with anything. Best classes for me are Molly’s intermediate reformer classes and Keaghan’s yoga ones - so good (especially hot vinyasa)

Fantastic experience: "I've been a platform member since August, and I'm so happy I joined! The diversity of classes always keeps me wanting more, pushing me to stay active and try new things. My favorite classes so far are Ride with Chelsea, it's the perfect boost to start my morning. Her playlist is next level, and the motivation she provides is incredible and I also love Molly's Reformer Pilates and Pilates Burn classes. The creativity and variety in each session make them challenging every time, and they're never repetitive. There's always room to push yourself further. Lastly, the staff is so welcoming and attentive. Gerald, my account manager since the beginning, has been amazing, he's always responsive and ready to answer all my questions. It's great to be part of such a diverse and supportive community!

Negative experience: Today’s class made me never want to go to spin classes again after 1.5 years of regular classes. Choice of music is very questionable; but the main issue is that it’s dangerously too loud. My ears still hurt 1 hour after the class. I’m sorry, but this is not normal and I don’t want to risk my health going to spin classes. As a studio they have to give a warning that the music is going to be loud and provide earplugs.

Negative experience: Today, I encountered extremely unprofessional behavior from the front desk staff. Instead of showing respect to customers and doing their job, one of the staff members behaved inappropriately: she was giggling, grabbing her colleague’s arm, and openly pointing at my boyfriend, clearly trying to get his attention. It turns out she was excited to see him because he had visited recently. This behavior is not only unprofessional, but it also made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I come to the gym to focus on my workout, not to feel awkward or be subjected to this kind of attitude. I would appreciate it if the staff maintained a professional demeanor and treated all clients with respect, regardless of personal preferences. I have no complaints about the instructor. I was not at the training.
Negative experience: Unfortunate experience with the Sales team. Very pushy and did not give time to confirm and make the payment for membership. The instructors and the classes are great as I used to attend regularly through ClassPass. They are no longer on ClassPass and I was approached on WhatsApp for membership. We exchanged messages sporadically about the pricing, validity, etc. However, the approach was extremely unpleasant and in the end, I was refused an extension to pay the next morning and told that " maybe its not the best time for me." I was quite taken aback by this experience. We get caught up with work and it's not possible to make the payment right at that very moment. I guess they have enough members so they don't really care.
Fantastic experience: The day i found platform, my time bcame more valuable!! Great people great atmosphere great positive vibes!
Negative experience: Incredibly inconsiderate staff and pathetic policy of not letting clients in to class if they’re more than 5 minutes late. DIFC’s hellish traffic should be considered but alas, very quick to take our reservation money but equally pathetic when it comes to creating leeway for paying customers. Membership cancelled.

Here’s why: - During the first few minutes of a class, our coaches provide an overview/explanation of the class, missing it makes it much more difficult to follow along and enjoy the session ahead. - In addition, these minutes are dedicated to properly warming up the body to make sure it is ready for the intense exercise coming and so that no injuries occur. - Not disrupting the experience for our other members once the class has started - And finally, we need to make provisions for our waitlisted members. We understand your frustration, this may seem like a tough policy, but we do it to ultimately ensure a joyful class experience for you.
Negative experience: @theplatformstudios at the risk of sounding like a Karen; when you refuse someone into the class at 8:33 AM knowing full well you’re based in DIFC where traffic is unpredictable and stop lights go green but police stop traffic to manage flow; you’re basically losing customers. Just be consistent; letting someone go in at 8:32 but not at 8:33. What’s the basis? It’s either no one after class start time or a 5 min buffer or something to work off of. You may have gotten 1 class revenue but you just lost a customer

Negative experience: I’ve been a platform member for a year but will not renew with them anymore. Overnight, they decided to double the prices of their reformer classes. They assigned me an account manager who was unresponsive and left for a month, and despite me asking for a renewal they kept on delaying my request until their new pricing scheme was rolled out. I asked multiple times to speak to a manager but I was just thrown around the front desk team who would not even let me finish a sentence. I would have tolerated their mediocre facilities (broken showers and lockers, no towels in the morning) because i liked their classes but the fact that customer loyalty means nothing in this studio is something i am not willing to put up with. They have lost my business and I hope they learn with othet customers churning and going to the other one million platform studios in the area Update: joke of a service, email address no one responds to, and their whatsapp no one responds to.

Negative experience: UPDATE: The email address they gave in their response does not exist, so my email could not be delivered. Came for a yoga class. After 10 minutes of waiting they say the class is cancelled as the teacher did not show up. The only compensation offered is just another class later on. Nothing for the time already wasted. I appreciate that you handled my concern, and I hope that you will treat the attendance of clients to the classes in a different way instead of waiting for the clock to tick to lock the class's door. Thank you. To Whom it may concern, I wanted to share my recent experience with your establishment, specifically regarding the management and policies in place. First and foremost, I must commend the quality of instruction I received; it was truly exceptional. However, I regret to say that my overall impression was marred by what I consider to be a serious issue in your management. This morning, I encountered a new policy that I found quite perplexing. Despite arriving on time, I was denied access to the class. To provide some context, I arrived at the platform entrance at precisely 7:29 AM and was promptly at the spinning class door by 7:30 AM. Anticipating a seamless entry, I requested my shoes to expedite the process. Unfortunately, the staff member responsible for providing the shoes seemed disoriented and unresponsive. She stood there without offering any assistance and ultimately informed me that I could not enter due to being considered late. I would like to highlight that when I initially arrived at the platform entrance, the receptionist urged me to hurry to the class, only to contradict herself by refusing entry. This inconsistency left me quite perplexed. My experience was not an isolated incident. A friend of mine, who was similarly prepared with spinning shoes provided by your staff, was also denied entry. This level of unprofessionalism and inconsistency is concerning and not in line with the standards I have come to expect. I have always been diligent about reading online reviews, but it was not until today that I fully grasped the seriousness of the issues raised by previous customers. The complications I encountered at your establishment were unlike anything I have experienced in any other studio. Regrettably, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Platforms to others under its current management. The unprofessional conduct of the staff and the overall management leaves much to be desired. I did receive a call from your management team, extending their apologies for the incident and assuring me that such situations would be avoided in the future. However, they declined my request for a refund or an alternative class as compensation. This response did not align with my expectations at all. It is quite disappointing. I sincerely hope that your instructors may consider exploring opportunities with these alternative studios, as they offer a more seamless and professional experience. Thank you for your attention to my feedback, and I hope improvements can be made to enhance the overall customer experience at Platforms.

Negative experience: The worst ever. They close the door at 1min and they keep talking and don’t let you in the class only because of 1 min, they just closed the door the minute i came and didn’t let me in. Very rude with the clients. You pay your money for you to get humiliated in this place. Unprofessional and very rude. And they note your lateness, after one time you won’t get another chance to do another class to do the class all over again any other time. Definitely the last time booking here. We’re a group and no one will come back here. Unpolite you feel like you’re still at school, punishments and notes

Fantastic experience: B E S T gym in Dubai. The staff are so kind and helpful, and they respond so fast. The gym facilities are amazing. Also, the instructors and classes are so so good!! I got a 3 month membership, and immediately changed to annual. I attend 2 classes a day, and feel soooo satisfied. I love working out here. Any class with Isaac, Adam, Chelsea and Molly is so good. I never miss my classes with them. I’m still trying out new classes with other instructors too, and they do not disappoint in any way! I love that Platform is strict with their attendance and cancellation policies. They really hold you accountable which makes it motivating to not miss a class. But also they are very understanding if needed. I already know I am going to renew my membership here. Thank you Platform for the best workouts, I feel and look AMAZING

Positive experience: After using classpass to try out a lot of studios I ended up getting initially the monthly and then the annual membership at platform that covers fitnglam as well. Love the variety of classes and the instructors. Couldn’t be happier - Cathy is great front of house, a total sweetheart, she kept me updated on the memberships available and got me a great deal each time. Super responsive on whatsapp to deal with. Huge shoutout to Kaye as well for her help and hope to see her in more classes! The policies are strict but fair especially for lateness, and applies to everyone. Get there early before your first class and the comp class is great. Just wish theyd figure out a better way to release schedules because even at midnight drops reformer is waitlisted.

Fantastic experience: Reformer classes are great, the team is friendly and super helpful - from Cathy to Kaye they do everything they can to help with excellent customer service. Easy free parking - only challenge is the traffic to get to the venue at peak hours but this is out of the PS team’s hand.

Negative experience: Summary: Your own gym, Barry’s or the Lab are way better than Platform! THIS STUDIO IS NOT FOR FITNESS! ITS FOR THEM TO MAKE MONEY! I recently visited Platform Studio and had a disappointing experience. The staff are unhelpful and the policy of locking doors to those that don’t get there on time is unwarranted and impedes people from achieving their true goal, which is working out despite having a busy day. The staff will never point you to a manager or give you a number to escalate, which is unhelpful. I would not recommend this studio to anyone looking for a quality fitness experience.

Fantastic experience: B E S T gym in Dubai. The staff are so kind and helpful, and they respond so fast. The gym facilities are amazing. Also, the instructors and classes are so so good!! I got a 3 month membership, and immediately changed to annual. I attend 2 classes a day, and feel soooo satisfied. I love working out here. Any class with Isaac, Adam, Chelsea and Molly is so good. I never miss my classes with them. I’m still trying out new classes with other instructors too, and they do not disappoint in any way! I love that Platform is strict with their attendance and cancellation policies. They really hold you accountable which makes it motivating to not miss a class. But also they are very understanding if needed. I already know I am going to renew my membership here. Thank you Platform for the best workouts, I feel and look AMAZING

Negative experience: Class was good, however the front desk people are super unfriendly and not helpful at all. I forgot my locker pin and needed help from them to open the locker using the master key. I left my class at 6:40 and asked the front desk for help. They kept telling me oh we’re trying to find the key because someone misplaced it, just give us 5 mins. And I kept stressing that I need to go for an appointment and can’t be late. They didn’t care about my request, and they kept changing the person who was “looking for the key”. At 7:05, I had just about enough and told them they either bring security to break the locker or figure out something because I’m done waiting. At that instance, suddenly they found the key stuffed in one of the empty lockers. The complete lack of awareness and help from the platform employees is super disappointing and not only have they turned my good experience into a bad one, but I will never be coming here again. You never leave a customer waiting for nearly 30 mins, because you are too busy checking people in to class or scanning parking tickets, especially when I came and asked for help first. There are more than 5 employees and NONE of them bothered to help me properly.

Negative experience: Good classes but unfortunaly bad management of new joiners. You can be waiting to be checked in a line 5 min before the class and then they don’t let you in 1 min late, even if it was their fault.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this studio and can't get enough of the ride and hiit sessions. My fav instructors are A.D , Max and James. Beginners are given special attention. And ofcourse it takes a few sessions to get the hang of it. So far , loving it! For late comers complaining for not being allowed to enter , come early!! Staff is supportive and helpful

Negative experience: The reception lady shut the phone in my face when I tried to understand what the payment methods were- I was polite in asking if she could book me a class instead of me doing it through the website and she literally shut the phone in my face what ridiculous and rude behavior. Negative experience: Had such a disappointing experience. I was treated super rude and condescending by a blonde lady at the counter. I am a regular and she would not let me in the class as i was 2 minutes (yes 2..) late. The classes i do each week ALWAYS allow 3 minutes time for people to hurry in, especially during high traffic hours. This is not how you treat your customers, especially regulars.

Negative experience: I never been disappointed in my life as i felt today. I reached the studio 6:29 while the class starts 6:30, I changed as fast i can and i was attending the class at 6:31 sharp they didn’t let me in. They mentioned that the instructor will be bothered then they mentioned that its for safety because the room is dark and they mentioned that I could’ve went inside and after that i can go out and change then continue the class which is absolutely nonsense and contradicting. I can see that there’s lot of bad reviews about this studio and all related to each other “ timing “ and the saddest part is that they are not willing to change. Its so easy to play with people’s time and ruin their day. This is not healthy and unprofessional and a huge failure. There’s thousands of studios in dubai and platform was one of my best, but not anymore. Thank you for ruining my day and wasting my time, knowing that im not going for free. As much as i like the coaches there as much as i hate this place now.

Positive experience: Studio has such great classes! However, some really poor form coaches (eg. Adam - typical troubled individual that exerts his passive aggression as a defense mechanism)....Chelsea and AD on the other hand - freakin amazing!!!

Negative experience: I attended AD’s ride class and greatly enjoyed it in the past. Today, I came in for the ride class and there was about one minute before the class would start. I asked the receptionist, Arlene, if the class started. I told her it’s okay if it did and I’ll come back another day, as I understand that it is requested that we arrive 15 minutes before the start of class. She insisted that I join the class and I was greatly appreciative. The ride class requires you to wear spin bike shoes. Three of the workers ran to me and began rushing me. I quickly threw my bag in the locker and grabbed my socks. Arlene begins aggressively yelling at me to walk in barefoot and put my socks on inside the class. I told her I will not walk around barefoot and I need to put my socks on before I walk around. I quickly sat down and began to put my socks on as fast as I could. Arlene then slouches over and screams in my face say, “Hello! Put your socks on inside!!!” I understand the class was about to start but I told her that I understood if I couldn’t join today’s class. There is no reason why a client should endure that kind of condescending treatment and aggression. I felt attacked and I felt as though my personal space was invaded. I decided to go home. I grabbed my bag and left. Arlene was being extremely aggressive, lacks person boundaries and customer service skills.

Negative experience: If i could give this place a 0 star i would! First of all, I arrived to my class 2 minutes late (literally 2) and they didn't let me in, I explained to them that there was constructions all around their building and that's why i was late, PLUS the location on Google maps takes you to a completely different building, and they still didn't care. Their staff members are so unprofessional and rude, they had a very bad attitude. When I complained they said "management will contact you", they would probably reply with the same thing to this review, but no one ever contacts you. I'm not sure why they treat their customers like that, the class experience is for the customers, NOT the instructor or management, and seeing how many people complain about this policy and they still refuse to listen, I'd have to say this is the worst gym studio I've ever been to. And this isn't even talking about the horrible smell in the bathrooms, or how unorganized everything is (shoes, towels, etc).

Negative experience: I’m sorry to say that this place has the worst assisting team for new joiners! No one offers extra help even after knowing you’re new the studio. Not recommended for people trying spinning classes for the first time. The atmosphere overall is quite unfriendly. Plus they don’t joke about being late, they didn’t let a friend in just for 2 mins delay, while there were empty bikes in the studio.

Negative experience: Had an unpleasant experience with this gym and the instructor James Loughray. I had a class booked with him for 7 pm. I got to the Platform 10 min early, signed in with my name at the reception, WITH THE INSTRUCTOR, James. Got changed and saw people filing into the class so followed along. I was the last in line and about to enter the class when James told me that it was full and shut the door in my face! Was subsequently told by the staff that I was late, and that my spot had been given to someone else on the waitlist!! I was not late; after all the back and forth with the staff it was 7:01 pm. What an ungracious, disrespectful, and inconsiderate way to treat your customers! While I understand that late policies are important to ensure that classes run on schedule, it is entirely unfair to shut your customers out and give up the spot they booked when they SIGNED IN, were ACTIVELY on gym premises, and were ENTERING the class along with everyone else. The instructor knew I was booked in his class and he gave my spot up!? I am genuinely appalled. Just sounded to me that they overbooked the class and made me think I was in the wrong instead of recognizing their mismanagement. Overall, I will not be returning to this gym that doesn’t care for all MY time and efforts I put into joining the class. I wasted time, fuel, energy, and plans to make it to this class, so just giving me another class to book at your gym is NOT ENOUGH. Not to mention the humiliation and rudeness of being shut out in front of the whole class. The Will-They-Won’t-They-Let-Me-In is a gamble I am not willing to take; this gym isn’t all THAT, it’s a normal gym, with normal classes, nothing that justifies this attitude towards paying customers. The employees lack any understanding or remorse for their unreasonable late policy, and they gaslight the people that are NOT EVEN LATE! There are tons of other gyms in DIFC that treat you with respect, dignity, and poise, and I will be prioritizing them from now on.

Negative experience: I arrived exactly at 8:00 am for a class, not even 30 seconds late, and they refused to let me in after getting a 20 minute taxi and dealing with Gitex traffic. After having a similar experience last year I decided to give the platform a 2nd chance and have been going a lot the last month but truly never again. Go to Barry’s they’re a lot nicer :)

Negative experience: I’ve been going to Platform for a long time but I am disappointed by the immense smell of sewage that has taken over the showers where it is so bad the stench of poop renders them unusable. I assume there is a plumbing or cleaning issue as the smell has now started to linger into the actual classes in addition to the air conditioning only working some days if lucky causing the walls and mirrors to drip. For a gym that prides itself on a more high-end reputation, the smell of sewage and consistently broken AC certainly does not align. I am disappointed after months these issues have not been addressed.

Negative experience: I really enjoy my classes at the platform but the closed policy is out of hand and absolutely ridiculous. I reached Ride’s door EXACTLY at 8.31 (one minute late) and they didn’t let me in due to “safety concerns” such as missing the warming up session and so forth. A strict policy that aims to ensure a “joyful experience” is literally just more trouble than it’s worth. I really don’t understand how the studio would be losing anything by just introducing at least a 3 minute grace period out of respect to their members, especially when most of us don’t have the privilege to be 15 minutes early and be away from the office for long periods of time, and of course not to mention the ongoing endless traffic by index tower.
