Negative experience: للأسف تجربتي مع هذا النادي سيئة جدًا. بعد ما اشتركت وسددت، تم سحب مبلغ من بطاقتي بالتجديد التلقائي بدون ما يوضحون هذا الشيء بشكل صريح وقت التسجيل. وعندما طلبت إلغاء الاشتراك، تم رفض طلبي بحجة غير منطقية (أنه ما أقدر أوقف الاشتراك إلا إذا سافرت أو انتقلت من البلد!). هذا أسلوب غير عادل، ويخالف أبسط حقوق المستهلك. أي خدمة اشتراك محترمة (مثل نتفليكس أو أي نادي عالمي) تعطي العميل حرية الإلغاء وقت ما يريد، مو تفرض شروط تعجيزية. أنصح أي شخص يفكر يشترك يتأكد 100% من الشروط المكتوبة قبل الدفع، لأن تجربتي كانت غير شفافة ومخيبة واللي ماسكين الواتساب ايضاً ابداً مش متعاونين اضطرين اروحلهم الفرع وايضا مافي اي تعاون ولا تم حل المشكله وكل واحد يرمي الشغل على الاخر تنقلت بين اربعه ولا احد فيهم حل المشكله (( تجربتي هذي في سنترال مول الشارقه ))

Negative experience: I’ve been going to GymNation for a while, and while it has potential, there are a few things that really need improvement. The equipment is decent, and the gym has most of what you’d need for a solid workout. But the main issue is the air conditioning – it’s either not working properly or just not strong enough for the space. The gym often feels stuffy, and that, combined with how crowded it gets, makes the environment uncomfortable. It also tends to smell a bit, especially during peak hours. Another thing is that there just aren’t enough machines or weights for the number of members. During busy times, it’s hard to find an available bench, squat rack, or even dumbbells in certain weight ranges. You end up spending more time waiting than actually working out. It’s affordable and accessible, which is great, but I really hope they work on the ventilation and capacity issues – it would make a huge difference.

I spent over 20 minutes just looking for equipment to use !!!!!!! , And for such a huge gym, it’s shocking they don’t even have a single resistance band!. I come to the gym to release my energy, not to get frustrated. Definitely not renewing again!!

Negative experience: My experience with GymNation has been extremely disappointing. After my contract ended, I continued paying monthly without any binding agreement. Despite contacting them and submitting an official cancellation request, they kept demanding payments — as if I had signed up for a lifetime membership! It feels like even my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be expected to keep paying! They have gone way too far with their unfair policies, and there’s absolutely no respect or flexibility in dealing with customers. I strongly urge anyone who faced similar issues to file a complaint with Consumer Protection. What’s happening is completely unacceptable.

Negative experience: Never ever try to deal with this gym , when I saw AD before 5 or 4 years that gym is cost for one month 39 dirham I applied . I didn’t even know it was contract , there was nothing special writed . That time gym was even not opened , I waited for 2 -3 month . Then I went only one time and never back , and I was having online card which they accept so I didn’t go again , they try to take money from my card and keep saying that I have contact which one I not see and until some time they keep calling and send me messages from from organisations , that I have to pay for gym around 7 k since all this year . And I can’t fly and can’t do nothing. I don’t know this is gym or money stealing from people treating people for nothing. U guys choose wrong way , I hope someone will make your calm in baaaaadddd way so do u stop asking money from people who even not using your gym .7500 aed they count my bill for 5 years swear u r not getting even 1 coins . And btw guys if u get message that u will have problem about traveling ban or something, this gym can’t do nothing actually just treating and force to pay , cos I travel yearly few times . So anybody have same problem just ignore them , or if u have free time and good mood someone should open keys for them , cos they can’t even prove and show contract .

Negative experience: Canceling with this gym is nearly impossible, please never enter your card details on it because they will keep charging it, and there is no way to get to any sort of customer support.

Negative experience: The gym is good, but the stuff is not professional at all, I wanted to cancel my membership but they said that I agreed on a 12 month contract which I didn’t agree on and when they contacted me on WhatsApp that said that our stuff is trained to tell you everything before you do your membership which they didn’t do at all and the proof that they want your money is that the person who did the membership for me sent me a link and that’s all he said the link didn’t include any agreement and after I told them all of this story more than 3 times they stopped texting me on WhatsApp and they don’t reply at all and they don’t want to cancel my membership until now. And that’s the worst way you can treat a customer.

The equipment available is great and I’ve noticed that new machines are being added regularly, which is exciting! If there were a bit more space for physical workouts, that would be wonderful. Overall, it’s a great place with a strong community of ladies, and it’s clear that the gym is quite popular!

Negative experience: Sudden Drop of Standards!!! I am a GymNation member since 2023. Below mentioned are the sudden drop of standards noted off late. 1. Reception team is very busy talking to their own colleagues or reinventing wheels on their computer. Welcoming and Eye Contact?? - Wish you the best of luck to happen:) 2. Strange loud music is played along with the trainer's commands broadcasted during the free classes - which resembles a carrefour scenario where someone is trying to sell a food processor on a live demo. The best part is everyone working out has their own ear pods and these poor speakers are blaring for an unknown audience. 3. They have an improved housekeeping...you may in normal stumble upon thrown bottles, land on oil-stained gym seats, scattered tissue papers, wrongly placed weights, mobiles under equipment's and cats running all-over the campus. Be mindful... you may land on someone's mobile as most of the mobile holders of the equipment is missing. 4. As an environment (cost) saving measure, the tissues near the wash basins are removed, and you are expected to dry your face after a workout by the wall mounted Air Blower (very fancy though). 5. The access gate works if you at their mercy and you may have to be in queue requesting access through the acrylic access door. 6. I am with a personal trainer from Enhance and then realized that the facility is swamped with free lancing trainers and a bunch of trainees occupying most of the equipment's. Did I commit a mistake of not choosing a freelancing trainer??? 7. The additional parking gives you an offroad feel with minimal lightings and haphazardly parked cars, consider it as a bonus if your car is rewarded with couple of scratches. It used to be a premium gym (who even charges for drinking water by avoiding water dispensers) and now it is losing its charm to the new gyms surrounding them. Still if things are taken lightly with minimal or no supervision, it may not be the "Best Gym in Mirdif" and probably land as the "Worst Gym in Mirdif" Sunil J

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with the way the subscription renewal was handled. I completed a 1-year subscription, and without any prior notification, call, or message, the service was auto-renewed — even though I haven’t used it for the past 2 months. When I contacted their accounts department, I was told that I needed to give a 30-day notice to cancel — otherwise, I’d have to pay for an additional month. How is that fair if no one even informed me about the renewal? As a customer, I should have been notified in advance and given the choice to renew or cancel. This kind of service and policy is frustrating and feels very unreasonable.

Positive experience: Nice to have a club open 24 hours, but I really wish the music would turn off in the early morning. It’s never truly motivating at that hour. There’s something special about the quiet—just focusing on your breath and the fresh morning, giving us the choice who want music can use his device.

Positive experience: I recently joined GymNation and was genuinely excited to start my fitness journey here. However, my first experience left me slightly disappointed. On my very first day, as I entered the workout area, a barbell curl rolled toward me—apparently pushed aside by a staff member. It was surprising, as I’ve been a member of several moderately sized gyms where staff handle weights and equipment with much more caution and attentiveness. Another concern I noticed is the lack of proper supervision in the gym area. I observed several individuals performing exercises with poor form, which could potentially lead to injuries. Considering that personal training at GymNation comes at a cost four times higher than the monthly membership, I would strongly suggest having at least one certified trainer per shift to provide general guidance and prevent workout-related mistakes, especially for newcomers for free by roaming around alternatively. Additionally, I found the gym atmosphere lacking motivational energy, there were no motivational quotes or visuals to inspire members during their workouts. Instead, the TV screens displayed paid advertisements and promotions for in-house food services, giving the place more of a commercial vibe than a fitness-focused environment. Incorporating motivational quotes, workout footage from fitness legends, or even member transformation stories on these screens could significantly uplift the gym’s atmosphere. These suggestions come from my experience across more than 10 gyms. I believe with a few adjustments, GymNation can truly live up to its name and become a more inspiring and safer space for everyone!

Negative experience: لا تشتركون وياهم الا لو كنتو تبون اشتراك لمدة سنة ولا مايستوي تلغون الا بعد ضرابة يعني ليش التعقيد كيفنا نبا نشترك ونبا نلغي ونبا بريك الشي راجع لنا ومن حق كل شخص انه يتحكم في اشتراكه اغلب الجم يكون عندهم اشتراك شهر او ثلاث شهور وتجدد على حسب انته شو حاب وما يربطونك وياهم وكانه غصب تكمل وياهم سنة حرفياً نظام سيء جداً من ناحية الاشتراك ومن ناحية الاجهزة بعض الاجهزة ماتشتغل ومايكون شي مكان والجهاز ماخذ مكان عالفاضي يعني عدلوه ولا بدلوه شو يعني تخلونه جي بس زينة !

The cleaners blocked me from leaving and guilt tripped me into paying. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time happened, but now that it happened again I wanted to bring it up. Negative experience: BEWARE: Gym Nation is a SCAM! If you're thinking of joining Gym Nation, DON’T. Their customer service is a NIGHTMARE —no direct number, slow WhatsApp replies (if they even bother to respond), and completely unhelpful staff. When I first showed interest, they bombarded me with calls from 10 different reps. But the moment I had a complaint? Silence for two days. I signed up at the Mirdif branch, where the account manager conveniently “forgot” to mention their shady cancellation policy—you MUST give a 30-day notice before canceling, and if there’s a payment due within that period, you’re forced to pay it, even if you don’t want to continue.The guy pressured us into signing, saying the fine print was just what he "already explained" (which was clearly a lie). Inside the gym? More disappointment: Dirty washrooms and poorly maintained ladies’ section ️‍♀️ Not enough 2-10kg dumbbells—always a wait ‍♀️ Treadmills constantly malfunctioning ‍♂️ Only two stair masters for a crowded gym Lockers get stuck, vending machines often don’t work I ignored all of this, but when my 6-month membership was up, they pulled the ultimate scam—they KEPT charging me. No call, no confirmation, just straight-up deductions. When I realized and contacted them, the response was slow and useless. They refused to cancel my membership unless I paid AGAIN, even though my contract was over. They refused to let me speak to a manager. When I confronted them they said read the contract , this is what it says: "Once you have completed the minimum number of Monthly Recurring Payments as stated in your membership choice, we will automatically continue collecting Monthly Recurring Payments every month. Your membership will be extended by one month for each payment." So basically, unless you fight to cancel it (which is near impossible with their awful customer service), they will keep charging you until I made this unnecessary payment—a payment I should NOT be forced to make since my contract was OVER. The best part? THEIR BIGGEST SCAM. When they couldn’t charge my original card, they magically charged another card I never even provided to them.HOW did they get my card details? That is beyond shady and completely unacceptable. This gym traps you in an endless payment cycle. EVERYONE I know who's been to Gym Nation has faced the same scam. Avoid Gym Nation at all costs. There are plenty of better gyms with fair policies and decent service. Don't get scammed.
