Negative experience: Worst gym experience ever! The gym is extremely small and always crowded, with very limited space and equipment. What’s even worse is that they charged my card without any notice. When I asked why, they claimed it was in the “terms and conditions” — something they never explained upfront. This feels dishonest and unprofessional. I had such a bad experience from start to finish. Definitely the worst gym I’ve ever joined, and I do NOT recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of PureGym since 2023, and I really like it because it’s not crowded and the ambiance is very comfortable. The coaches are friendly, and the classes are amazing. This is the best gym I’ve experienced so far in Al Barsha even though it’s a little bit far for me, I still go because it’s worth it. They also offer great membership deals, which is a big plus!

Negative experience: The membership cancellation process is a HEADACHE and HORRIBLE. I couldn’t login to my account for 2 DAYS because of an issue with THEIR system. So when I finally contacted them 1 day before my membership renews and I asked them to cancel my subscription, they said it’s too late and they will charge me 199dhs. I’ve never seen any other gym have this stupid rule. The gym itself is fine and the quality is not bad, but BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IF YOU DON’T READ THEIR CONDITIONS!

Positive experience: Don't be fooled by the good reviews the coaches ask the members to write it infront of them anyways im not hating on the gym the equipment is basic matrix you'll find in every gym my issues are the changing room and showers its the worst ones in this entire country and im not exaggerating its always dirty the showers are broken old theres no hooks to hang your bags it smells its small and tight and theres no hot shower the gym is always packed and you'll be waiting a few minutes to use a machine theres no free water if you buy the plus membership you only get to use the yanga water twice and theres a 30 minute grace period to wait dont bother getting the plus membership if they fix there showers and make it a bit more comfortable or renovate instead of having a weird tub that's never clean this gym would've been a 5/5 in my opinion I prefer the nad al sheba branch because there's free parking and theres no parking in the barsha one its 4 dirhams per hour which is an extra 240 dirhams per month if u park for 2 hours u can get a way better gym membership for that price i have no problem with the gym other then the shower even the parking u can come after 10 and use it but the shower and changing room definitely needs to be worked on for this gym to be a dubai standard gym

Negative experience: Ladies, please be cautious — the women’s section is not as private as it seems. Make sure there are no men around before removing your hijab! Here’s my experience: I usually go to the gym after Fajr prayer, as it’s the most convenient time for me. One morning, a few minutes after 5 AM, I arrived at Pure as usual. I changed in the locker room, removed my hijab, and stepped out — only to be shocked to see a man painting the walls in the bicycles area. Alhamdulillah, he had his back turned and didn’t see me, but I was still extremely uncomfortable and rushed back to the locker room to cover myself. After dressing, I went to ask what he was doing there and if he even knew that this was a women-only zone. He calmly replied that he had received permission to be there. I immediately reported this to the staff. They apologized and claimed they were unaware, saying they would investigate and find out who was responsible. This experience made me feel unsafe in what should be a private space for women. So sisters, please be cautious and double-check before removing your hijab. May Allah protect us.

Positive experience: Great value and well-equipped gym PureGym Al Barsha is a clean, well-maintained gym with a full range of machines, dumbbells, and other equipment. It offers everything you need for a solid workout, and the membership price is very affordable. The only downside is the location—it's quite far if you're coming from other parts of Dubai.

Fantastic experience: Ladies looking for a safe and fun environment, Pure Gym is your place. I am a member for almost 2 years now and my feedback is very positive. Very approachable manager, Anna you rock, always there to assist us. Coaches are fantastic, Adriana with her vibrant energy, always pushing us harder and Bushra always challenging us with a more sweet approach. My father attends the male area, also for almost 2 years, and really loves the friendly environment. 10 stars to Pure Gym

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my first day at the gym, and Coach Dennis did a fantastic job helping me get started. He clearly explained the essentials—from how the gym operates to the right mindset and first steps for a beginner like me. Even though it was just an introduction, he made sure I felt comfortable and confident about what to expect. His guidance was clear and encouraging, and he shared practical tips to help me start off on the right foot. Negative experience: I am very upset with how my membership cancellation was handled. My membership ends on the 13th of April, and I contacted you on the 12th of April to cancel it. But I was told that I had to inform you at least 2 days earlier, so you will still deduct the next payment. This is really disappointing. Even big platforms like LinkedIn refund the money if the membership is canceled after renewal. Other apps like Noon, Amazon, Talabat, and many more give more flexibility and care about the customer experience. I don’t understand why I’m not allowed to cancel just one day before the end. I feel like I’m being pushed into paying for something I don’t want to continue. This is not fair and not customer-friendly at all.

Fantastic experience: Loved the Absolute Abs with Dennis. Would definitely recommend! The gym is great but wish they had the name of trainer displayed on the app. I also think they need to make water fountain available for members.
