Negative experience: I’m writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with Uform Al Ain / Gold’s Gym Al Ain. I had paid for a gym membership valid until April 2026, but the sudden and unexpected closure of the facility has left me – and many others – in a completely unacceptable situation. Despite being told that refunds would be issued, I’ve been informed that it will take a minimum of 6 months to process. Even more concerning, I received a message from Uform’s head office in Dubai stating that the company currently has no money to issue refunds. This is outrageous. How are members supposed to afford joining another gym when our money is still tied up in a service that no longer exists? There has been a complete lack of transparency, communication, and basic customer service. We are essentially being told to wait indefinitely for a refund while receiving nothing in return. This is not just poor service – it’s deeply unprofessional and shows a disregard for loyal customers who invested in good faith. Uform should take immediate action to resolve this situation, provide accurate timelines, and most importantly, honor its financial obligations.

This is completely unacceptable behavior, and a complaint has been filed with the relevant authorities regarding this matter!

Very poor and misleading management, lying on members and left people lost and wondering weither to move on to another gym or stay hopeful that the gym will re-open again..they should not just refund people rather they should also pay penalty on lying and letting people wait for nothing ! Negative experience: Extremely Unprofessional & Zero Communication! Been going to this gym since before covid and I’m beyond disappointed with the way this gym handled its sudden closure. I drove all the way there today only to find it completely shut down; no warning, no notice, nothing. After reading the reviews, I find out it’s apparently been closed for TWO WEEKS. No email, no message, no heads-up to members who’ve paid good money and committed time to this place. This level of negligence is unacceptable. Members deserve transparency and basic respect—especially when it comes to closures and our memberships. The lack of communication shows a complete disregard for your loyal clients. Shame on the management for handling things this way. If you’re considering joining this gym in the future, DON’T. They clearly don't value or respect the people who support their business. Shame on them. We want our money back!

Positive experience: While we continue to emphasize the importance of regular and comprehensive maintenance that serves the needs of gym users, it is essential to highlight a critical issue—namely, the management’s ability to communicate effectively with members. It is crucial that users are informed well in advance about the scope and timing of maintenance and any resulting closures. Unfortunately, over the past few years, we have observed that the club’s management has not met the expected standards in addressing members' needs, improving operational performance, sports training, facilities, and equipment. Regrettably, the apparent lack of attentiveness to stakeholders’ needs and the absence of empathetic communication reflect poorly on the club’s ability to maintain its position as a strong competitor in this field.

Negative experience: I'm concerned about the recent, sudden closure of the Al Ain branch for maintenance. We didn't get any warning, which was inconvenient. I was told it's because of air conditioning problems and will take about a week. While it sometimes gets warm, I think the temperature is usually fine. Closing for a whole week seems like a overreaction, Many of us have questions, but we can't get clear answers. I asked for a contact number for management, but the number I got doesn't work. I hope you can find a better solution and communicate with us more clearly.

The staff has become unprofessional, the quality of services has declined, and to make matters worse, the gym was suddenly closed today without any prior notice or explanation. There has been no official communication from the company, and the person in charge of memberships has been completely uncooperative—refusing to provide any useful information or even process cancellations and refunds. This is completely unacceptable. I demand an immediate response from the management explaining the reason for the sudden closure and what will happen to the remaining subscriptions. Negative experience: Good location, poor management, poor customer service, poor maintenance and communication. After a long day you want to be able to goto the gym without issues. At al Ain Uform they make sure to give something to ruin your experience. Overall a very disappointing experience with their staff and policies. Which change very frequently. I was a member for 1 year and decided to get my wife a 6 month membership. When I singed her up they told me we will transfer the membership if needed. Now they are trying to charge an excessive amount for membership transfer and very rude and not understanding. I mean you can physically see that she is going to deliver in just 2 months but they asking for medical certificate. These people have lost all common sense. They have been saying for 2 years that swimming pool will open but never does No water fountain are working and you just bring your own water or buy overpriced water. It’s a premium gym with a premium price and they can’t provide water The AC seems to just not work during the summer months and it is very warm in the gym There are never any lockers available they have no solution. Instead they look at you like it’s your problem lol The list goes on…

Negative experience: Before increasing prices make sure all the negative comments in the reviews has been solved please (because they’re all true). It’s not fair and not even acceptable. The only positive point is its location. Running machines do not have inclines, always unable to work, and other equipment's need to be replaced or fixed. This is my opinion and it’s not against anyone or anything, just an opinion.

Negative experience: Very bad service. The locker cards are often unavailable in the evening 6:00pm-11:00pm. No proper response from the front desk. There are too many members mam at the moment and we have limited cards. To borrow a locker card each time you need to give them your emirates id or car keys.The showers are broken and unable to lock the door as the locks aren’t working. The classes doesn’t have proper spaces or area for the members. The members keep crossing each other’s and blocking each other’s view. There is no basic classes for beginners who are always trying to copy the trainer but unable to. The trainer only tries to correct them once or twice and ignore if they are unable to workout. You won’t see any personal trainer in the gym unless they are training someone who has opted PT sessions. They won’t help you or correct you if you haven’t opted for PT sessions. The cleaners keep staring and giving rude glances all the time. The parking is frequently an issue with the events going on and no prior notice given. At times the parking is completely closed for days and no other parking will be available wasting your gym membership days and the gym won’t be responsible or helpful with the parking. Bad idea, if you workout regularly and hate missing gym. They give you only one month free pause and you can’t pause less then a month.
Negative experience: Parking was closed due to some event and no alternative parking was available. The customer service is rude and unprofessional. I was speaking to Anil asking regarding parking and he cut the call without answering. I called again, someone else answered, informed the gym is not responsible. Nearest parking you can use Jimi Mall parking, 1km away. You will frequently face the same parking issue as gym doesn’t have gym members parking.

Positive experience: Time to replenish some of the machines. Pool is closed since several months but they say under maintenance. Otherwise very big facility and not crowded morning.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this gym for YEARS. But ive noticed the obvious neglect this year. Not clean. No lockers. Most equipment is broken/dirty/raggedy. Most cardio machines are out of service regularly, and are old. Showers are dirty, moldy, & shower nozzles are broken. Sauna is not clean, even the water scoop and bucket are split in half. Its just very nasty, never going back again, even going to the gym is very discouraging!
Negative experience: The cleanliness of the gym is concerning. No one appears to be maintaining the equipment or ensuring its cleanliness. As seen in the attached photo, there was a piece of gum on the treadmill that I did not notice before starting my workout. It is now stuck to my phone.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best gym facility in the region... it has a great range of fitness equipment from cycling machines, thread mills, MMA cage, Running track, Swimming pool, Sauna and more. It offers the best value for money. I would spend a lot of my time in this club!
Positive experience: Great gym. Largest gold gym in the UAE. Has almost every machine, a running track, a cardio corner and even a UFC octagon cage. Facilities also include 2 swimming pools, one for men and the other for women. Separate workout areas for both too. It may be a bit pricey though, but definitely the best gym in Al Ain.

Machine are good and well maintained. Cons Trainers are hardly visible .so you have to do gym by yourself unless u have a PT. Swimming pool not available. Overall decent gym worth the money you pay of you know how to exercise by yourself.
Positive experience: The gym is well equipped and the staff are good (a bit pushy). There two things that I think they are misleading: 1. They are 3 water fountains and no one discuss that they are not working and you need to buy water when you want to be hydrated. 2. The opening times should be from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm at least. Apart from these, the gym is excellent.

Fantastic experience: Awesome Zumba classes by Coach Victoria. The energy in the class was amazing and I was completely riveted from start to finish. Coach Victoria's expertise as a professional dancer was evident in her teaching style, which made the class both technical and fun at the same time. I enjoy every single session of her class and always left feeling energized and refreshed. I cannot comment much on the other facilities at the gym since I am not a regular gym rat, however, I did notice that the group class floor was a bit dusty during my visits. It would be great if the cleaners could do a better job in keeping the area clean, but this issue is relatively minor compared to the overall quality of the gym. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for an awesome Zumba class.

Positive experience: This gym is huge from the inside and the space is massive but it is being used poorly. The machines are mixed and not organized in an order where every body part should have its own section. Other than that, big space with huge potential but needs rearrangement.
