He was incredibly accommodating and helpful. he gave me a full tour of the gym, explained all the facilities, group classes and introduced me to the trainers we met along the way, who were all very welcoming. Shoutout also to Shannon and Elmer at the front desk for their warm reception. All of this contributed to my decision to subscribe so much easier! Excited to start soon!

Negative experience: A once-great gym undermined by overcrowding and poor service I’ve been a member of this gym for over two years and have always appreciated the quality of the facility. Unfortunately, recent experiences have made it increasingly difficult to justify my continued membership. Despite training daily around 6am, typically a quieter time in most gyms, it’s become nearly impossible to follow a structured workout plan due to the severe lack of available equipment, particularly benches and cables. The overcrowding suggests that memberships have been oversold, with the situation during peak evening hours being even worse. When I raised my concerns and requested to cancel my membership, having completed the minimum commitment period as per the terms and conditions, I was met with delays, ignored emails, and vague responses. I’ve now been waiting over two weeks for a clear answer, despite escalating the issue. I was informed that renewing an annual membership restarts the commitment period, yet no such clause exists in the terms available to members. My simple request to be shown where this is stated has gone unanswered, likely because it isn’t stated anywhere. What’s been most disappointing, however, is the dismissive response from the membership experience team. Rather than acknowledging and addressing my concerns, I was advised to “try training at a different time”, an unhelpful and condescending suggestion that places the burden back on the customer, instead of offering a real solution. This is a gym with great potential, but unfortunately it’s being let down by overcrowding and a lack of accountability from the customer service team.

Negative experience: If you're thinking about joining Wellfit, be warned: this is not a place that gives refunds—no matter how legitimate your reason is. It’s been over three months since I first requested mine, and not a single proper follow-up was made. The complete lack of accountability and customer service is shocking. I’ve lost all trust in this gym and cannot recommend it to anyone. Be very careful before signing anything—once they have your money, it’s gone.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Gym with lots of equipments to choose from. Many variety of classes throughout the day. Lots of fitness instructors for PT. Definitely a great premium gym to do your workout and have a community here. Would recommend others for sure on using the gym.

Negative experience: I enrolled my daughters in the Rhythmic Gymnastics class based on the information provided by the staff — and they knew my girls' level because they had previously trained at the same gym. However, after paying, I was suddenly told that the class was for competitive athletes only and that my daughters couldn't attend. This shows a serious lack of communication and proper management. They were quick to take the payment, but it's now been months (since November) and I still haven't received a refund. They seem more concerned with collecting money than offering quality service or supporting young athletes and their families. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional and trustworthy gymnastics program.

Fantastic experience: Shanon was incredibly helpful in guiding us through everything we needed to know about using the gym and making the most of our experience. She took the time to thoroughly explain the facilities and answered all of our questions with patience and professionalism. Her friendly and informative approach made for a very pleasant and much-appreciated experience

Positive experience: Gym is great , equipment are new and well maintained. But management has to be more stick on recording . Many members comes with their tripods shooting videos a person can’t workout without being in one of the videos

She’s incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and always knows how to push me just the right amount. Her motivation is contagious, and thanks to her, I feel stronger, more confident, and healthier than ever. Every session is challenging but fun, and I always leave feeling accomplished. She’s truly an amazing trainer!

Mahmoud patiently showed me around the gym, explaining all the different programs and facilities in detail, which made me really excited to get started. On onboarding day, I met Ahmed, who took the time to assess my weak areas and shared insightful advice on how to focus my training—super helpful and professional. And most importantly, I’m beyond grateful to have met the best personal trainer ever – Lara! In our first session, she took the time to really listen to me—understanding what I need and what my personal goals are. Based on her experience and expertise, she created a tailored plan that suits my fitness level and objectives perfectly. From the very beginning, she made me feel seen, encouraged, and confident in my ability to become a better me. After just one session, I was already filled with positivity and a sense of emotional empowerment that stayed with me for days. She followed up after class to check how I was feeling, reminded me of important things to be mindful of, and even gave helpful dietary advice to make my progress more effective. Her care and support are truly remarkable. So far, we’ve had three sessions together, and even my friends have noticed the changes in me—they're amazed! I'm incredibly thankful to Lara for guiding and inspiring me. Every session with her is filled with motivation and genuine girl power. ✨ I’m excited to continue this journey and keep working toward becoming the best version of myself—with Lara by my side. ❤️

Fantastic experience: The gym is nice in general, but what made it stand out for me is their boxing coach, going by the name Lioness, with the mane to prove it! Its not often you find people who are as passionate about what they do as her. I highly recommend you try out at least one class with her while you can

Negative experience: I got called by the General Manager from Wellfit JVC, ask me to leave the Gym because I put one star revue as below. To be honest, not recommended as I dot think I can reply on the staffs after the duty manager told me that it is a busy gym therefore they cannot help me when I needed .

Fantastic experience: It’s one of the best gym in Dubai. But if you are visiting for the first time, you might get confused how to get there. So this gym is located top floor of shopping mall. When you see tim hortons coffee shop, you can take escalator or lift to go 2nd floor then you will see it. They have a lot of machines, very spaces in general and their shower is lovely as well. One thing between the machine, there’s not much gap but other than that it’s lovely. Thera boost as well inside gym and they give free towel.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for almost 3 yrs now jvc branch Getting busier by the day lol Would like few improvements like 1) asking members to put weights back after use 2) more space between machines and not cramped And removing few bit so frequently used ones 3) Reducing price for long term users to motivate them to stay 4) referral fees or discounts for users 5) pool and sauna hopefully Rest amazing work by team

Fantastic experience: Normally I am used to having males as my boxing coach. However since joining Wellfit, coach Dayanny ticks all of the boxes that I seek for as a boxing coach not only in the fitness aspect but also the psychological side. Not to mention that she is very honest and isn’t afraid to give constructive feedback when it comes to exposing flaws in sparring sessions which is right up my alley! Fun Fact: She is the first female boxing instructor I’ve had, I am very grateful that she is at Wellfit and I HIGHLY recommend her for both men and women who are looking to improve their boxing skills and fitness!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending PT sessions with Saad for 9 months now and it has been an incredible experience. He has helped me improve my health, fitness, and strength by immeasurable amounts. He is always so positive and encouraging. Additionally, Saad is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in supporting my continued growth and improvement. He knows how to adjust workouts and exercises depending on where I am at on any particular day, and truly tailors each session to help me continue to progress. I have genuinely enjoyed each session with him and I’m excited to continue my sessions with him 3 times per week! The entire staff at wellfit jvc is friendly and welcoming.
