Amateur Karate Club - Musaffah Shabia 9

Established in 2013 in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, the Amateur Karate Club (AKC) stands as a premier institution for traditional Shotokan Karate, recognized by the UAE Karate Federation and affiliated with prestigious international bodies such as the Japan Karate Association and the World Shotokan Karate Federation. Under the visionary leadership of Sensei Moideen Sha, a 5th Dan Black Belt and internationally decorated champion, the club has cultivated a reputation for excellence, mentoring thousands of students across the UAE and globally.

AKC offers a comprehensive and professional curriculum tailored to every age group and fitness level. For children starting at age 4, classes focus on building the "ABCs" of martial arts: Agility, Balance, Coordination, and Speed, fostering discipline and social skills in a fun environment. Teens benefit from programs designed to boost self-esteem, leadership, and concentration, preparing them for success in national and international competitions. Adults and women have dedicated sessions where they can achieve their fitness goals, learn effective self-defense techniques, and build mental resilience under the guidance of experienced black belt instructors, including specialized classes led by female instructors.

Beyond physical technique, AKC emphasizes character development, teaching values like respect, self-control, and perseverance. The club is known for its student-centric approach, offering additional free training sessions and flexible scheduling to ensure every karateka reaches their potential. Whether you are a beginner seeking a healthier lifestyle or an aspiring competitor aiming for the podium, AKC provides the ideal environment to transform effort into rewarding growth. Your first session is complimentary—join the community and discover that karate is a journey of lifelong learning, not just a destination.
