Fitness First Dalma Mall

Negative experience: I rated this gym 4 stars 6 years ago and here I am today changing it to one star ! And if I could give zero star I wouldn't think twice ! _____ I was away for 2 years and I rejoined again as a platinium member recently. I am disappointed how their services have downgraded and how unprofessional their staff became ! (In most branches not only in dalma mall) Today is a public Holiday, the gym schedule has a planned RPM class at 9:00 ! I checked on google maps this morning and it was showing open ! I reached at 8:30 thinking I'll have time to get ready change my clothes and have a coffee before the class and to my surprise the gym was closed ! 8:45 Ms Tina came and opened the elctric door halfway and jumped inside, when I showed up to speak to her another staff(housekeeping) started closing the half Opened door ! Ms Tina with No manners or courtesy stayed behind the door and started talking to me without even listening to my question ! I clearely asked her " if the class is starting at 9 am when am I supposed to come?" She answered loudly and with atittude "the gym will open at 9 " !! I asked her again the same question hoping she will say 10 min before or so ! she answered with a worst atittude and a louder voice, the gym will open at nine "Habibti"the gym will open at 9 and it's a public holiday and it's not my decision I am just doing my work ! As a person who's been to gyms around the globe I always take 10 to 15 min to prepare myself before the class ! Since I rejoined I am noticing a lot of bad changes... very old equipments, poor hygiene practices and rude demotivated staff ... while on the surface FF is expanding and opening new branches !!!!! I am sure a lot of old members will agree with me. I am convinced that I am not renewing my membership with FF again and I will definitely check one of the competitors who really invest on their staff and their conditions to keep their customers.

Negative experience: On many occasions I received information regarding membership and debated. I always saw Fitness First and thought about joining but something was stopping me. Even when a Privilee member I never attended or joined classes. I finally decided during the Spring Break I would join. The staff in reception are happy and friendly (the Filipino staff). This gives a false sense of the gym. Once you enter the gym you find the staff in the ladies side to be unfriendly, unapproachable and standoffish. I attended several of the "RPM/Cycle" classes and although there early with a different instructor each time not one came and introduced themselves, checked that I was okay or that I knew how to make sure the machine was where it should be. In one lesson I had been struggling to adjust and was just ignored and no help was given. I have attended enough classes to know how things should be but for safety the instructor should be checking especially when they have never had me in the class before. The final class I attended before I stopped attending 2/3 weeks into my 5mth membership was when a member of staff shouted at me. WOULD she have shouted at me of I was Arab? She shouted at me because I had been standing outside the door to a class with an Asian lady waiting for the "jump" class to start. As there was a class before it I had waited outside for the instructor and ladies to finish and come out = there were several ladies chatting and when I went to enter had glared and I was told to wait outside . The instructor I did not see come out but the door had been closed and locked from the backside. The female cleaner had assisted me to open the door. The Asian lady was not standing there at this point. As I myself had struggled to open the door once closed I left it open. A FEMALE member of staff came and asked who had opened the door. When I said me = without speaking to me she started shouting at me infront of men. No apology no nice tone of voice but rudeness and anger at a customer, a paying customer. I attended the class and finished it but I had been humiliated and embarrassed by someone working at Fitness First. I would not attend here unless you want to be humiliated and ignored Updated: I noticed that my app was no longer working although I still had more than 1 month pending. I had contacted Fitness First HQ and received a call. They then put me through to the branch where I spoke to a Fahad. Whilst I was still speaking he put the phone down.

Negative experience: i was planning on joining this gym but after the bad reviews i’ve read yeah no way

Negative experience: This gym has a terrible management system and an unprofessional team. Their main focus is to take your money rather than provide good service. They are unclear and misleading when they speak to you. Once you show interest in registration, they keep chasing you until they "catch" you. I strongly advise others to be careful and not fall into their trap.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed with Fitness First I’ve been a loyal member of Fitness First for years, but sadly, the quality and customer care have declined significantly. The gym has become more focused on commercial gain than providing real value to its members. What truly upset me was a recent experience: I purchased a membership for my wife as a gift, hoping she could enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to attend even once due to personal circumstances. I reached out to the gym multiple times, kindly requesting to hold or pause the membership until she could start. They flatly refused and told me it had expired—no flexibility, no empathy, no consideration. This kind of rigid and profit-driven approach is unacceptable, especially from a brand that claims to promote wellness and community. I can no longer recommend Fitness First to anyone who values good service, fairness, or a pleasant fitness experience.

Negative experience: An African Coach treated me horribly in front of others, quit the very next day

Positive experience: الفرع المفضل عندي، يوجد تعاون مقبول من قبل الادارة موقع الجم ممتاز بس لو كان جنب البوابة كان احسن افضل هالفرع لان الباركنات المظللة متوفرة بكثرة عيبهم ارتفاع اسعار المدربة الخاصة الحاجة للصيانة والتجديد مزدحم بعد الساعة 5 العصر

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of Fitness First for while, and unfortunately, I haven’t seen any real development or improvement in the gym, especially in the Abu Dhabi branches. The group classes have remained the same for a long time with no updates or variety What’s also disappointing is that whenever there is a good trainer or instructor who brings energy and value to the sessions, they’re either moved or let go without explanation. It feels like all the attention and resources are directed toward the Dubai branches, while Abu Dhabi is treated as an afterthought. ⸻ Would you like it to sound more formal or more casual?

Positive experience: ‏Special thanks to Mr. Randy for his kind treatment, appreciation and keenness to provide the best pictures and information about the gym.. The location of the gym is very special inside the mall, close to the parking, and you can spend a whole day with your family without stopping to exercise and accomplish many things inside the gym and the mall.. But what caught my attention was that the trainers are not open-minded in dealing with new people!!

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with how the gym handled a promotion that was offered to me over a month ago. I was told that if I renewed my membership for 6 months, I would receive a 500 AED voucher for a meal package. That was one of the main reasons I agreed to renew. They kept me waiting for weeks, saying I would receive a link by email, but it never arrived. Despite several follow-ups, the promotion was never honored. This kind of service is unacceptable, and it shows a lack of professionalism and respect for members who commit to long-term plans. I hope this issue gets the attention it deserves, as it’s extremely frustrating to be promised something and not receive it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. The facilities are top-notch, always clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for your workout. But what really sets this gym apart is the amazing staff, especially the manager, Mr. Adnan. He’s incredibly dedicated to ensuring every member feels welcome and supported. His passion and commitment to our fitness journeys truly inspire everyone around him. If you’re looking for a great place to work out with fantastic people, this is the place to be!

Negative experience: Very bad experience. Iam a member a fitness first for more than 6 years . I went to Fitness first Delma mall and asking them to enter for a one day access. They are non helpful. Specifically the receptionist . He is not helpful anyway speak in very bad way . When i ask him to call the home club to get their permission to got the access. He refused to give me their number . He refused to do anything. He just spoke to me without looking to my face at least and say you have to pay 105 aed to enter otherwise wait outside till they replied you. He is not friendly anyway. Very bad experience to have that kind of behavior and attitude . He didn’t meet any expectations of professionalism . It will be the last time to just think to enter that branch . My advice to you at least to put a professional person at the reception as it is the first contact with the customers. At least he didn’t show any care towards what I have request.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with the reception staff at Fitness First. They were unhelpful, unfriendly, and lacked professionalism. As the first point of contact, they left a poor impression, making the overall gym experience unpleasant. This needs serious improvement.

Negative experience: تعامل جداً جداً سيئ والخدمة جداً سيئة ويعتقدون ان الناس بتسرقهم او يكذبون عليهم، عندنا خصم فزعه وعندنا اشتراك مزايا يعقدون الامور بس عشان ندفع مبلغ اكثر وكأنه الخصم بينخصم من راتبهم وايضاء يطلبون عقد الزواج عشان يتأكدون انه الي معاي زوجي وخصم زوجي!! مافي اي شخص او اي محل يحق له انه يطلب عقد الزواج!! ولكن الموظفة الي ف الرسبشن حابه تعقد الامور أكثر و لهالسبب راح ألغي اشتراكي معاهم ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌ Very very bad treatment and very bad service and they think that people are stealing from them or lying to them, we have a fazaa discount and we have a benefits subscription and they complicate things just to make us pay more as if the discount is deducted from their salary and they also ask for a marriage contract to make sure that the one with me is okay my husband and the discount is my husband!! No person or any store has the right to ask for a marriage contract!! But the lady hear name is TALA at the reception wants to complicate things more and for this reason I will cancel my subscription with them ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌

Negative experience: اشتراكي معهم اكثر من 10 سنوات اجهزة قديمة في النادي ما يجددونها وصابرين وللأسف الفترة الاخيرة ازعاج موسيقى الكلاسات بشكل كبير تسبب لنا صداع وهذا سبب عدم تجديد الاشتراك وما انصح حد فيه لانه قدمنا اكثر من شكوى للإدارة بهذا الخصوص بدون فائدة

Fantastic experience: Staff are very accommodating... They make sure that concerns are resolved on time.. This branch is cleaner and more hygienic compared to other Abu Dhabi Branch.Moreover, classes are fun and challenging. For further improvement, classes should have variations of trainers and should add new classes like boot camp/body attack/Strong nation so it will not become monotonous. Hopefully the towel service will return the soonest..

Positive experience: Being the only FF branch within this area, the management should do better than what's currently being offered. Especially in the studio areas where the cycling machines are extremely outdated and the programs are not at the standard level of the clubs in Dubai.

Positive experience: This gym facility is relatively spacious, has a decent variety of machines and cardio equipment, and also contains a sauna and steam room (closed at the time of writing, obviously in response to COVID-19). There are seperate mixed and women-only sections of the facility. As I don't pay membership fees, I can't comment on the value provided by club memberships. Update - As of the past month, I've been aggressively shredding weight with the guidance of a personal trainer. The bar of quality is high. In addition, you receive a free heart rate tracker to measure effort and calories.

Positive experience: well, what can I say, a bit pricey, inside the gym is not so clean, especially the toilets, and shower, there are very few machines and iqrupments in the women's section..

Fantastic experience: This is my second time coming to Abu Dhabi and I've dropped in this facility both times I was here. Staff is nice and I just loved everything about it. If you ever go to Abu Dhabi and looking for a nice gym around Dalma Mall area to workout at, this is where you want to be.
