GymNation Silicon Oasis | Best Gym in Silicon Oasis

Positive experience: Struggling with the parking, have to wait minimum 30-35 min find a parking for 1 hour workout session. Other than that amazing team, good workout experience. Parking is really big concern. Please increase the number of parkings.

Positive experience: Very good gym and good equipment are available but tends to be very busy. There is no discipline among the people who work out there and the gym management doesn't do much about it. Kids tend to lift heavy weights without any supervision. I am afraid someone will get hurt badly. Very few people follow the gym rules so you can expect to throw the weights around, using the lockers without mandatory locks (some of us actually gave money for these but the majority just uses the lockers any way they like). Additionally, finding the parking spot is very difficult since there are many people who park there and are not gym members. I like this gym and I am writing this so I could get some attention and we might see some improvements in the future.

Positive experience: Very crowded and extremely cramped. All the machines and weights are kept very close together. It creates a lot of problems when some exercises need space and people keep walking across your area. They don’t have a lot of machines to train chest it’s just one chest press which gets crowded very fast. Staff is very friendly and the gym is very aesthetic. Very good options for cardio workouts.

Positive experience: About the gym: A great gym with plenty of equipment and enough space to workout either alone or in groups. Being 24/7 is a definite advantage with flexibility to adjust your workouts to your own schedule rather than be confined to gym opening-closing schedules. Studio for group exercising is clean and very inviting. Free weights section is adequately equipped with dumbells from 2kgs to 60 kgs. Benches for flat presses, incline and decline presses are kept in the free weights section with enough and more plates to fill up the bars to lift. They have vending machines for water and energy drinks but don’t have a water fountain for those coming with their own bottles from home looking for a refill between sets. So you would either have to get bigger bottles from home to adequately hydrate yourself or be prepared to spend money on the vending machines to get water bottles. The men’s locker room is large with separate areas for changing, toilets and showers. They also have plenty of mirrors to self evaluate the changes in your body after a grueling workout. The Air-conditioning is kept at a comfortable level, so all the sweating is due to your workout and not the hot weather outside. Parking is available at the street side (paid) by the RTA or one can opt for the paid parking lots in the Souq extra mall which is free for the first 2 hours and then paid thereafter. Negative : Members are not considerate and leave their used water bottles and tissue papers lying around beside the machines or on the floor making it an unpleasant sight for those who don’t have such cleanliness issues.(check photographs)
