Negative experience: Horrible gym. Very small and everything squeezed in but that wasn’t the main issue. Phone number on Google is wrong. It says golden mile 3 when it’s 10. After an hour being lost I go to the gym for a cold plung and they don’t even have towels which is the bare minimum if you’re doing a gold plunge in a gym. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Really great gym with a warm welcoming atmosphere. I’ve done a couple of classes (Legs & Glutes) and both classes were well structured and explained in a good level of detail. Coaches are very encouraging too

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? I joined Chalk 5 weeks ago through a recommendation of a friend and its the best decision I’ve made. Since moving to Dubai I’ve struggled to find a gym that I loved and one that I would be consistent with, well I’ve sure found that now. Chalk isn’t just a gym its a community, we all support each other no matter the fitness level. The coaches are amazing, along with the other gym staff who are super friendly and helpful. I love the classes and look forward to going everyday. Chalk also offers a meal plan to assist with your goals and it’s the best meal plan I have ever tried, theres not been one meal I haven’t liked. Frankie, Trish please don’t change a thing ❤️ Natalie x

Fantastic experience: As a spin instructor, my schedule is crammed with classes that are cardio focused and so I’ve been looking for a space that offers strength based with a bit of conditioning. I was pleased with the Chalk class conducted by Matt - he’s a great guy and makes sure you’re doing the exercise with proper form and technique. Will definitely try it again soon.

Fantastic experience: OK so I have hit over the 3 month mark at Chalk, If you are serious about changing your body in a clean professional environment with really experienced coach's then you need to come down & claim your free trial class. It will be amoung the best health decision you will have made this year! Just do it & thank me later!

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best Crossfit gym in Dubai. Great coaches, top notch installations and lots of classes/timings to choose. Additionally, the management often organizes a bunch of extra activities (competitions, gatherings, etc) which is key to create an outstanding community of like-minded people. Go CHALK go!

Fantastic experience: Chalk Training Ground is the best gym in Dubai. The experienced trainers, superb facilities, great cafe and overall atmosphere all make this place special! There’s just nothing else like it in Dubai. You can expect high intensity / killer workouts / CrossFit classes - but with all of their classes because Frankie and Trish are truly “best in class” trainers - they push (and push) everyone to their individual limits. You’ll never feel anything but welcome at Chalk - regardless of your fitness level or your own personal fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: I've trained for the past two years at a different HIIT gym. Put simply, Chalk is the next level if you are serious about being as atheletic as one can. Great staff, coaches, community and very challenging workouts. It only gets easier after week 1. NB: not really to hell with easy

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place. World class trainers that will push you till your last sweat. Every workout they offer is well designed and will push you to the max. There is a great friendly community vibe and have made some great work out buddies. The Cafe is open with great coffee and Avo on toast. Shower facilities are 5 star and often enjoy working there in the cafe after or before class. Definitely try this place out, for me it’s the best gym in Dubai.

From the weights and machines to the changing rooms and cafe, everything is new and in perfect condition. Couldn’t recommend Chalk more highly.

Chalk is one of a kind fitness facility in Dubai combining Strength and Conditioning classes and Crossfit. Love the community vibe everytime I step in to Chalk!!!

Fantastic experience: Chalk training grounds is an outstanding facility. The equipment and space ( including beautiful changing rooms and spacious showers ) is honestly world class. The recovery area is also a great addition with several Icebaths and as with everything the quality is excellent. The gym is open to use as you wish but their main focus is the classes and I can see why. The classes range from strength & conditioning to Hiit workouts, to CrossFit classes and more. The Furnace on a Saturday morning is a 75 minute session that sets you up perfectly for the weekend. In this class you are sure to take advantage of the outdoor palm running track on their doorstep. The trainers are qualified in there field and really push you to your limits. They are incredibly understanding and knowledgeable and so you feel like you are training in safe yet really challenging environment! All the staff and the clients are really friendly and even though the classes are tough it is never in an intimidating way. Highly recommend. Also, their coffee & shakes are great!
