Fantastic experience: I have been training at DB for around 2.5 years now & I honestly don't think I will ever find a better place to train. From the equipment, to the coaches, to the wider team and to the community it is gold standard. These guys are dedicated to lifting and it shows every day as well as at their epic competitions. DB welcome newbies the same way they do professional athletes. Staff, coaches & members are respectful of each other as well as always willing to offer support & a safe spot. They live up to every one of their values with no exception - strength, unity & community. Fantastic experience: Without a doubt the best gym I’ve ever been to. Super friendly, super clean and a very motivating environment. Where people cheer on others for doing new personal bests. I went first feeling nervous but everyone is super welcoming. My coach Dalia is the best trainer I’ve ever had. She pushes me and motivates me like no one has before. She makes me feel confident that I will reach my goals. I’m getting stronger session by session. On training days I feel awesome after a session even if I’m slightly exhausted. I intend to be at this gym for the foreseeable future.

A standout aspect for me has been the Olympic lifting coaching. In particular, Diego is a master technician who truly delivers results. His approach to Olympic lifting is both effective and enlightening, making every session valuable. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their power lifting or olympic lifting journey.

Diego is a fantastic weightlifting coach that genuinely cares about his clients and takes the time to explain things to them. I feel very well taken care of, challenged, and supported in here and would recommend it without hesitation ☺️

Fantastic experience: I have been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and have trained at many facilities and with different trainers. Once my training was more focused on Powerlifting I started to train more often at Desert Barbell. I train 5 times a week at DB with Coach Dan and Chris. After I started to train at DB, I feel I can never ever train anywhere else anymore. The facility is equipped with world class equipments and highly specialized, qualified and skilled professional coaches with different options to cater to various clients needs, whether it’s wellness,improving performance, competition or just looking for a friendly environment to train and feel as a community with no biases where you are on your fitness journey. Fantastic experience: I walked into DB with no experience and didn’t have much confidence in being in a gym. I trained with Coach Angelica, who is kind and really knowledgeable about powerlifting, and we started from the beginning. I learned about the basics of strength training, focusing on technique - which I found so interesting. We also talked about how to get more comfortable at the gym. Angelica encouraged me with every weight we added to the bar. There was a lot to learn and I started to feel my body get stronger. Desert Barbell is a great place to train with a really friendly atmosphere. I’ve met some cool, dedicated people here, and can proudly say I’m part of the DB community.

Fantastic experience: For me DB is definitely the best gym in Dubai not only for powerlifting and olympic weightlifting but also for strength training. The facility is amazing and you'll find all the Eleiko equipment. The coaches and all staff members are super friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful! In addition to that the community is next level, very supportive and there is always someone to talk to! I started training there with Dan almost 2.5 years ago and wouldn't have thought that I would enjoy lifting weights and competing so much!

Fantastic experience: Community, family, strength, educational and welcoming are some of the words I can use to describe DB. The warmest of welcomes is extended to all who set foot inside this fantastic facility, regardless of age, gender or experience. You will happily find the novice & experienced athlete training alongside each other in a relaxed,fun environment. The staff are highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: Best place to call “home” .. The coaches are professional, fun, and great to work with. The gym constantly gets upgraded with new equipment/ apps/ apparels.. The showers and changing rooms are very well maintained & clean all the time ! The community is supportive and great to be around! Coach Dan was absolutely amazing in training powerlifting ! Coach Diego by far the best to train olympic lifting! Overall 5 stars doesn’t do justice

Fantastic experience: Desert Barbell is not a gym, it is an institution. It’s a place where every bar, dumbbell, and piece of equipment has its assigned spot. The highest standards of fitness coaches ever seen, that professionally help you with your goals. I do Dragon Boating and I train with Patrick Henqwist for the last 4-5 years. Over the years, he built the core of the basic muscles used in dragon boating. The testament of this professionalism is that at 49 I feel as fit as I ever have been and do not have a single muscle injury.

Having trained at other clubs in the USA and U.K. this is hands down one of the best strength clubs in the world. Fantastic experience: High quality equipment and even higher quality staff set a high bench-mark, however the overall sense of community at DB are the defining factor. Fantastic experience: Best gym in dubai! Such a great gym with a great community. I had personal training sessions from Patrik and haven't been able to deadlift or squat in 4 years. Knees hurt walking up stairs and shoulder issues during the bench press. Now I'm deadlifting 95kg, squating 70kg, benching 82.5kg with no pain!
