Fantastic experience: Very good traditional Ayurvedic massage centre. I have been to many Ayurvedic massage places in Dubai and this is still one of my favourite centres. Good location in Karama and parking is never an issue. The place is clean and as one person has mentioned before there are different sections for massage, shower and changing room, which is not an issue for me but this could be improved. They offer various attractive packages and these can be also adjusted to your specific requirements. The prices are attractive compared to other Ayurvedic centres. When it comes to the massage itself the quality is very good. I can definitely recommend Jayan who is very professional and adjusts to my various “aches and pains” and then varies the massage, pressure and focus accordingly. I would usually go for a traditional Ayurvedic massage combined with Kizhi and a steam bath at the end and I always feel “rejuvenated” after the massage. If you are looking for a sophisticated spa with modern facilities and relaxing music this is probably not the place for you but if you are looking for a professional Ayurvedic massage, then I can only recommend this place. Staff and the manager are all very friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: This is what massage should be. It was a great experience and Jay first asked where there was pain and ensured that that area was given special attention to remove the swelling and increase blood flow. It was worth the money and would definitely do it again.

Negative experience: very, very bad experience. I went for a 90-minute massage, I like massages, I do them all the time and this was the worst I've had in my life. The masseur has no technique, no will. He remained in the same movement, with inconstant pressure, with just one hand. I started to get nervous, I decided to ask him to use both hands. He started, a little later, he did it again with just one. It was a waste of time and money. I couldn't stand it, I shortened the time, I paid. At the reception I made this permission to the elderly man at the reception, the masseur was present. Neither of them said a word. For my part: Never again. Everything was lacking, technique, desire, professionalism and politeness.
