Fantastic experience: The club is a complete center for handicapped people. With the most advanced care, treatment, education, and sports. The staff, management and the handicapped all deserve medals for their amazing work and great dedication. I would recommend a visit and highly recommend voluntary work and/or donations. Money and time well spent. God bless them.

Positive experience: The stadium consists of a running track with sand pits for long jump and wide open space with grass in the centre of the track for other activities such a javelin throw and shot put. Mainly centered around Olympic games. There is an open basketball court present but upon special request, the basketball hoops would be added.

Positive experience: Quiet, less crowded and generally very peaceful. Driving to the club may be difficult but once you're there take time to enjoy the club.

Wheelchair Sportspersons and Amputee Athletes have been encouraged to be the world's best at the Al Thiqah Club Sharjah. I hope the GCAA UAE, Sharjah Airport and Air Arabia Group PJSC Sharjah open an Accessible Flight Academy with disabled- pilot friendly aircrafts with adaptive flight controls that will nurture a new generation of flight instructors to support Pilots with Disabilities and Pilots of Determination in the Emirate of Sharjah , U.A.E.

This place comprises of a high standard athletic track where many of the international track & field competition for the disabled are taking place. All these facilities are provided in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. SULTAN BIN MOHAMED AL QASIMI, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to empower the people with disabilities.

Fantastic experience: Whether you are inside or outside the campus,, the place is just awesome for regular exercise.. It is a plus factor when you see their walls of "THE DETERMINED".. It seems like I'm in competition with myself.. I could only hope their grounds are open for a late run specially for women.. It would be a safe haven..

Fantastic experience: Only for the disability people not for all , even Senior citizen . Please give some options atleast a week ladies day to utilise the service. Having full load neem tree which we did not get in the United Arab Emirates. It's actually good to get the air from neem tree , good facilities , mosque and restrooms.

Fantastic experience: UAE, Sharjah, July 2013: With the Syrian crisis degenerating on an hourly basis and 8,000 new refugees flooding across neighboring borders every 24 hours, members of Sharjah’s Al Thiqah Club for the Handicapped have taken matters into their own hands – and feet – by holding a ‘loyalty parade’ to express solidarity with the ‘Big Heart for Syrian Refugee Children’ campaign. The walk was bolstered by a strong turnout, which got even stronger as curious members of the public stopped to learn more about the noble cause. The participants kicked off at Souq al Markazi, culminating at the finish point at Al Majaz Waterfront. While tapping into the Ramadan spirit of generosity, the walk also thrusts the spotlight on the plight of almost 2 million Syrian refugees – at least 50% of whom are children. According to aid workers who grapple with the horrors of the conflict daily, many children have either lost their parents or become separated from them in the chaos of their hasty evacuation under heavy bombardment. The uphill task of reuniting them with their families is made even more daunting by the fact that thousands of refugees are still unregistered, while others have effectively lost not only their homeland and their families, but also their identities. Mariam AlHammadi, Salam YaSeghar Assistant Manager, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the club’s participants, adding: “This is without doubt one of the most touching and inspiring acts of perseverance and courage in support of the ‘Big Heart for Syrian Refugee Children’ campaign. Syrian refugees walk hundreds of miles across unforgiving terrain and cross borders to seek refuge, and our handicapped supporters have put themselves in the refugees’ shoes by taking a similarly courageous walk. The message they are sending to the world is that with everyone’s support, Syrian refugees will never walk alone.”
